10:55 Anyone ever notice that distasteful practice of Toyota dealers removing the gear shift knobs in their display units? If they're so worried about them getting stolen then why not just attach them permanently during the manufacturing process. Paranoid much King Toyota?
There was an incident in a motorshow or a mall display where someone stole the shift knob that cost more than 25k 3 years ago? Then this practice became the practice.
They can be easily detached, just turn the shift knob counter-clockwise and you can remove it. It is only fixed by a thread.

Honestly i dont see any features that u can say UNLIMITED. it's still the same. Their may have some small aesthetic changes but no distinct features what so ever that u can say UNLIMITED.

this is difficult to say..the rav 4 is good..fortuner is good..but im looking for a mid size highlander style (length) affordable suv..toyota doesnt have this in their line up in the ph..toyota could probably bring the highlander here with more ground clearance. or if not they could probably introduce a new model..a new upsize "fortuner" same ground clearance. there is nothing really to replace the rav 4, fortuner. they have their own respective markets and their own loyal fans.
the highlander is for US market only. this price, better to buy sorento sx

The LTD really looks immersive but they should have used the Legender name instead for the Philippine market.

Yes. Legender sounds so much better than LTD. The label "Legender" itself has so much appeal. It is ridiculous for toyota ph to rebrand this fortuner, while in India(which also uses English as their secondary language) has already made the Fortuner Legender an iconic nameplate

Very good po. Depends on your driving style but we usually put it to Normal Mode.

Iba na po yung 360 camera unit ng 2022 ltd compared to 2021 ltd. Kaya iba na yung position ng mga side mirror cameras and rear camera.

I think it really won't be a problem since it has a lot of driving aids like a 360 cam, parking sensors, autonomous emergency braking etc. provided that you get the ltd variant. With that said, a compact car/suv would still be easier to drive.

cost too much for a pick up modified cars..
I used to pick the montero over the fortuner but one thing i like the LTD is the cool seats man its a wonderful upgrade specially this summer and the JBL speakers the quality of the sound is impressive, one thing i dont like is the kick sensor of the tail gate does not work i ended up kicking the hot tail pipe syet.. and also the ride quality of the LTD 4x2 & 4x4 is smoother than the G $ V variant you sould try, also meron mga customer na bakit walang sunroof for its price point, man you dont need sunroof here in the phillipines its cooking eggs out there the sun is like 4km away from the phils..well you have more goodies in the car as well.

I live in a country where the normal temperature is -35 most of the time, almost 9 months in a year and whenever I am in Manila, it's tough.

It's your opinion though, it would be nice if there is a Sunroof added. It gives you that extra luxurious feel, why? Almost all full-sized SUVs have a Sunroof. MB's G-Class, BMW X Series, Range Rovers etc. Even the Land Cruiser has a Sunroof. So, why not add it to a 2 and a half million Car?
Besides, they are well insulated, so heat ray is not a problem. Not convinced? Install Heat Rejecting ceramic films, that way it can provide more resistance. Another thing is, the Montero's AC system is cold enough to battle the heat. I have a Montero as well, and I rarely set my AC Temperatures lower than 26°C even on a very hot day with full passengers, I normally set my temperatures at 28°C only.
Bear this in mind, "It's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it."

As of this writing, I found out it has become the top of the line, with P5000 more premium than the GR-S. Hmmmm. 🤔
is it just me, but this ltd variant kinda looks like the coolray? especially in person, it looks like the old brother of GCR. 😁😍 hoping toyota will consider having a panoramic sunroof in a fortuner (to add more premium) and fix the back row seat into flat when you fold it.. thats it and the fortuner will be a perfect suv lol

I got 100% better for the Fortuner, we have one but it's the second-hand. The 2016 Toyota Fortuner 2.5 G Diesel Automatic, which is my 56-year old dad bought it in Bicol AUTO-Search

Do you know Why Toyota dealers don't have test/demo drive units? Because I'm Toyota, the king of mediocrity, that's Why. I don't like to spare or spend a unit for bullshit test/compatibility
drive to give them such foolish feelings of free will; I don't want to give spenders that illusion. What I want is for suckers to like and buy my cars (without a test drive) and not let them know that there may actually be better options out there that they CAN actually test drive. I like to spend millions on marketing hype to make people believe that I make high quality cars when all I really do is make cars with less than pleasing interior features (and frequently really cheap and inconvenient manual wing mirrors) that are good enough to move forward. People know it but people still insist on buying my cars because my marketing bullshit is so good that it has the same effect as that of "The Emperor's New Clothes". They see that my cars are indeed mediocre and overpriced but they are too brainwashed to resist my powerful marketing vodoo hype. Lately, I've been noticing that several individuals like you would from time to time voice out a dissenting opinion like that child who dared speak out the truth about the Emperor wearing no clothes at all. Never worry, I'm sure my witchdoctors will come up with a more powerful marketing bs spell that is sure to bring you and your disapproving kind back into my fold.

@@realVicTorres02 They're great, not having them on the more expensive GR variant is stupid. That's what I meant xD. Even with the KYB shocks, I think you'll still lose more than what you gain with the GR variant. Like the cooled seats which made the Fortuner the first in its class to have 'em. If you go for the ltd instead you'll have ~100k to spare which is more than enough to get you better aftermarket shocks than the KYB on the GR variant.

I have not seen power liftgates without height adjust feature so far
We have a 2017 toyota fortuner V and it has a height adjustable feature.
For 2.4M, this is a piece of crap....look at the plastic moldings , so cheaply done. Never buying a fortuner ever, the 2013 model looks so much decent

LTD does not stand for limited, because if it is a limited edition of the version of the fortuner, it would not be on sale for many years (limited versions are only for sale in a few months). Toyota just had to rename the "Legender" branding to LTD which I still don't understand why they did so
Ford also uses limited to denote a higher trim in their model lineup. See Expedition Limited or Explorer Limited. Doesn't mean they only offer it for a limited time only.
