  • Is The Toyota Fortuner GR-S Better than a Fortuner LTD?
Does it make any sense? The 2022 Toyota Fortuner has received the Gazoo Racing treatment, and is now the top-spec Fortuner available in the Philippines. The 2022 Toyota Fortuner GRS has received a host of aesthetic upgrades, but also lost some luxury features found in the Toyota Fortuner LTD. In this Filipino car review, we find out if the Toyota Fortuner GR-S makes any sense. The Toyota Fortuner is meant to be a utility vehicle, and given that the 2022 Toyota Fortuner GRS has only gotten aesthetic upgrades but no performance changes, is it even worth the added cost over a 2022 Toyota Fortuner LTD? The 2022 Fortuner GR Sport looks sporty, and even comes with all the required badges of a GR model, but it doesn't have any performance improvements over the Toyota Fortuner LTD. The 2022 Toyota Fortuner GR-S is now the most expensive midsize SUV in the category, being 50,000 more expensive than the Isuzu MU-X LSE 4x4. Even die hard Toyota fans would have a hard time swallowing the price of the Toyota Fortuner GR Sport, since the Toyota Fortuner LTD offers a more premium experience for less.

Basically the GR Series of Toyota are upgraded versions of their automobile lineup so you don’t have to bother upgrading on the aftermarket. If you consider the cost you’ll spend after upgrading at some point, it’ll cost you more or less the same price to the price of a GR-S. 😊

    Good day po,
I am 38 yrs old, a family man wid 2 kids, and xpecting anader baby ds mo.,
Your xperience and xpertise matters po.
    Thank you

Toyota can upgrade the Fortuner to a LTD or GR-S but it doesn't change the shape and style of the unit with it's soft curves and lines. Like many others, I still prefer the shape of the older model Fortuner hence why I'm keeping my 2015 V Fortuner 4x2.
