Wise choice, I agree as well with the video's recommendation. I'll also pick the Q as powered leather seats and tail gate are my main items.

was planning to get a prado but the waiting list is so long, then while i was there I saw the fortuner grs and fell in love, for me definately worth the 2.645 million price. very happy with it. I guess its back to being the most expensive ppv on the market again.

Around @8:15, correction, while the facelifted models arrived here in the Philippines almost 2 years ago, the 360-degree cameras didn't came with active guidelines but the 2022 model year gained the active guidelines alongside the updated 360 camera system, but that's only for the Q, LTD and later the GR-S models, the V still continued to use the same old 360-camera system as before.

3:44 The Montero GLX manual is not that bare bones, it actually has more features than the Fortuner G manual and it is priced 168,000 pesos less (as of April 22,2023)
    The features are:
-Automatic climate control (even though it is single zone)
-18 inch wheels (even though its not a 2 tone design like the Fortuner's)
    -Cruise Control
-More powerful engine (181 ps vs 150 ps)
-The 2023 model already has apple carplay and android auto on a 7 inch head unit(same one used on the xpander and mirage g4)
Even on the other variants the Montero offers the better value but Ford is still the value king.

If you'll do some research dude, it's just a strategy of Ford. In Australia, the Ambiente trim line in Everest is still available. I think they just marketed the Trend here as a "base model" para masabing mas maganda ung base model nila, and mas angat sila compared sa ibang base model ng ibang brands. Ford maybe too advanced on the Trend but all of their engine is equipped with not only simple timing belt(like anong petsa na diba binalik sa timing belt) but belt in oil system. Now isipin mo kung pang matagalan ba talaga yang ganyang makina. Then toyota will win again in that so called "reliability".
