I don't think that was Lungelos' intention. Rather, he was helping Promise clear her name and stand her ground that she did nothing wrong. The revelation often happens a traumatic manner, e.g. breaking you down with hurtful words or trash-talking you because they want to control the deceptive narrative or physical assault because trying to stop you from revealing their deep dark secrets, e.g. sex addiction. How do you respect someone who is using muthi to make another family member their puppet because they use divide and rule strategy to conquer and believe they have achieved something? Impossible!
