It's $50 at my local Walgreens, but I tried it , definitely helped when nothing else worked , I used it yesterday and it's half gone on day 3 I'm doing it again tonight, it may have not cured it all the way but it definitely cuts the healing time in half and stops the itching

Thank you!! Thank you!! It's still $35 and worth it. I just put it on and I'm on day 2---I wasn't going to tough it out. It works. Just don't forget to do the 10 second activation. After completing my first application, I did some more on a smaller area and forgot to redo the 10 sec activation. It does make a difference. The paper inside also advises to wash linen and items that may have been exposed to ensure you are not exposed again.
Worth every penny
Zanfel is best by far. Been dealing with poison ivy for two decades and best treatment, works quick. Also aloe on the rash after treatment helps a lot.

I saw it at Walmart, but passed it by when I saw the price. Been suffering with oozing rashes now for a week from the poison ivy I pull down last weekend. Thought I was bundled up pretty good. Apparently not. Tomorrow I will go out and get some. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

Key is to scrub with towel to areas that might have brushed up against poison ivy. I have uncle who walks thru poison ivy like its nothing and hasn't gotten rash is over 20 years. He says he just need to wash correctly within 2 hours (using soap, towel and friction to arms/legs) to get ivy oil off skin.

This is so true. I saw a guy at a college describe the plant, oil and how to remove from your skin.
Simple hand washing with soap does NOT work, but with heavy scrubbing with towel ( like you got grease from a car engine on you is how hard you need to scrub) is the key. Have a wash station with you when you work out in the woods with soap and cloth towels.
I just watched a video of a guy handling poison Ivy and Oak, bare handed over several minutes. He is not allergic. Lucky

How long does poison ivy rash suppose to last I had it for 3 weeks all my spots are dried up but I feel so itchy all time in my arms hands legs and chest it’s driving me crazy help

Be sure to rub it in for as long as the directions says. I tried to skimp on the step and it didn’t work. But it did work when I did it for as long as the directions says. 👍😁

I'm at day 18 of poison ivy rash purgatory, must try Zanfel immediately.
I have rash on both arms, neck, chest, lower abdomen, and thighs. Wonderful if I need to use a separate dollop for each affected area.
I thought I was pulling Vinca vines out of an area I wanted to turn into a garden bed...was yanking them out of the ground with my barr hands. 😫

So I currently have a thick cluster on my neck underneath my ear, I also have it on my arm in the crease as well as a line on the back of my arm. My neck rash has increased in size due to the rubbing of my shirt.
I also received prednisone today and took 4 pills. They said to take it for 7 days. I may just go buy this stuff instead. I also just heard that dish soap and cold water are what should be used on exposed skin after gardening or yard work as hot/warm water helps the oil of the poison ivy plant to penetrate deeper faster.
If you get some Zanfel. Use it just like directed. Rub into the affected area for 5 minutes. It will feel like sandpaper but it will definitely work. The package will have awesome information on poison ivy. It will work on insect bites also. 👍😁
Probably best thing to use but seen another video about using the orange hand cleaner that the truckers use and it definitely does a good job

It’s a great product. But be sure you scrub it into your skin just like it says. Afterwards it will look rough but the next day it should be cleared up. Good luck. 👍😁
I'm very thankful that I haven't gotten any of this in years. Poison "anything" sucks, especially if you accidentally get it on your **lls while making an emergency stop while canoeing. NOT lmbo! Thank for the heads up, I will definitely be getting some of this for the homestead. This stuff sounds amazing, and thanks for going the extra mile for us.

I was so excited to see your results, that I ran out and bought (the CVS generic version of) this. The exfoliation feels gratifying, and there was complete relief for a few hours, but my blisters didn't disappear like yours and I used the whole oz on my widespread coverage w two applications. Not as much relief the second time:( good luck to others!
Man be still looked bad till the next day. Hang in there. I know one time I let it get so bad I had to get a steroid shot.
I've been continuing to treat with washing periodically with dawn soap and spreading extra strength itch relief gel from CVS on all my spots. At least this kills the itch and pain. :) It does seem like there is less swelling of my blisters/marks today. Still monitoring.
Yes same thing happened to me it spread more but probably can work for other people
Hopefully this works. Got poison Ivy, Oak and Sumac on both of my arms. The only thing good about it....feels oh so good to scratch it even though that's the worst thing. Hope this works. Just bought a tube. $30.99. Tried 4 other creams over the past 3 days and nada

I have never been allergic to poison ivy..but i am allergic to sumac & poison oak.. 3 days ago i was cleaning off a fence and now i have one of them on my arm..i amnthinking about going to walmart now to getbthis.. I used cream.. Alcohol..clorox..out if evrything i used baking soda worked the best as a paste..it is drying up but it hard to keep it own at night.. Glad i saw this. I will be getting this product!!

Back when I detected in the woods I used to have to keep this stuff. It's very expensive but it REALLY works! When I first bought it long ago it was $75! I am hile allergic to that IVY crap too. Hairy vine.....no friend of mine! It get's the Urushiol off your skin that's what causes the rash. It's the oil from the vine. "Urushiol". That grittiness gets in the poors and loosens the oil out.

2021 Update: $44.99 sold at Wallgreens. I just tried it an hour ago, the itch stopped within 30 seconds just as it said. I have no more itching but will monitor it. I got poison ivy take photos at a lake and remember walking through lots of trees and leaves.

Don't worry friend the oil does not stay inside you. It cannot spread. But if you scratch it that spot gets worse. Best you wash dawn or grease cutting soap every 10 min when you are working in the garden or hiking and that will cut the oil exposure time. This year I got it head to toe trying to clear my yard of it=( I had a new soap called "grandma's soap" the active ingredient in it was jewelweed. I lathered my hands in it and rubbed the lather on all my spots for two weeks anytime I itched . This took care of almost all my spots and itching, but my hands were bad and it it blistered terribly so I had to add my benadryl gel and calamine lotion and ivy tech. I also taped my blisters so they don't get rubbed.

I have a severe poison ivy rash for almos 2 weeks now. I tried calamine, hydrocortisone, Benadryl... nothing works. I went to the doctor today cuz right now is all over my legs. Doctor gave me steroids. But I’m definitely gonna try this tonight. This is driving me crazy. 😔😔😔😔
That sucks. I know you have to be miserable. Be sure to do it just like the instructions. It will be cleared up the next day.

Thank you been trying Dawn dishwashing Soap with Calamine lotion seems to be working a bit if you put the Dawn soap concentrated and let it dry. I will look up the product you used and consider that too. Thank you Brother.

@@VansWorld I tried one more thing I had on hand called Activ ICE Cold Spray takes the STING out and does help Dry out the Poison Ivy about the same amount of time as the OTC product you suggested. Thanks again.

How long had you had the rash before you tried this? I've had mine for a week and wondering if it's still worth doing this or if maybe it's too late...
Had it for a bit. Even went to the dr and got a shot. Nothing worked but this stuff does. 😁👍

So just tried this, and followed instructions, sadly it did not work on me, after a week and half I made appointment with doctor, it may be that my case is different

I’ve tried vinegar and I’ve used bleach. Both seem to make it spread. That’s my personal experience though. I saw the Zanfel product and was like. What the heck I’ll give it a try. It really works. But you have to do it just like the directions says. By the next morning it should be dried up. Good luck. Let me know how it goes. 😁👍
So I went out and I bought that exact product and used it on one of my legs and then I discovered I’ve got poison ivy on my torso now. So how do I use it on my ribs without running water down my entire body and reinfecting myself? I’m open for suggestions.
I dont know what I have. Havent been outside. Its itchy. Started with one bump, then random bumps are showing up on my body. Theyre single tiny sac bumps. Dont seem to be a line of them or patches, or rash.

Sorry to hear. They gave me a prescription kinda like Benadryl to help with the itching. Zanfel works but you have to run it in just like it says. It will hurt like sandpaper but it will be clearing up in a few hours after using it. Good luck. Keep us posted
@@VansWorld Thanks, will do. Have a job tomorrow building a pergola out in the sun, not the smartest. But I have had it for a week. Can't possibly get any worse. Doc gave me some 80 dollar cream that hasn't worked yet, but I might try to rub it in like this stuff.
Complete waste of money. Make a paste of baking soda and vinegar and scrub the affected area.

Wow... $50 update 2021, I'm hoping this will calm the torture! I wish it to my ex, double the dose 🤣 and for you my dearest friend that help us out with this poison ivy, we can't thank you enough, i went to the doctor and prescribe me Triamcinolone Acetonide 0.1% did nothing! If this actually works, you should be charging a doc's fee or the add should pay you some percentage for the commercial. $50... Ouch... Itch...itch...!!!
