I own a 1985 R107 (380SL) with 89.000mls....returned from the USA to Germany in 2017.
The power of this engine is quite fine for smooth rideing in the country side..

There was an $800+ gas guzzler tax added onto the purchase price of the 1985 380 SL that I now own.

It’s got to be a generational thing but to me the R107 is the absolute best of the of all SL models. Then the disgraceful R129 and the rest came along, which in now way I see them as worthy successors.

I own a 1984 380 great car the 107 great car they just made too many of them anything you make too many of them it's a shame they really have no value great call for the money what do you think will they ever go up in value?
