I am currently playing this for middle school band and me listening my this right now I'm realizing that music is eternal. I am connecting with people from the past from the present through music. And thats one of the reasons I love music and band so much.
Same i just played it too
I’m playing this in my elementary school band and we sound terribly good
i’m playing it in a few weeks lol
we're now playing this song along with Portrait of a Clown and Maesong and we sound so good! I'm a clarinet >:D
POV: Your in middle school band, and you're playing this song, and you want to see if there are other people like you, so you scroll through the comments.

Aren’t we all?
I’m an 8th grader in concert band and I just had UIL yesterday and they talked to us saying we’re gonna play this song for our spring concert in may :)) excited tho it won’t be easy to learn
Lmao not me, i’m a freshman, but I come back in times to listen for the memories, cuz I played this in 7th grade 🥲
Just did this for a 7th grade honors band.
We are currently playing this in band right now for our concert assessment
Us too

@@anoobforhire9162 I’m in America but the state I’m in is Arkansas

@@noahbrownderville4217 I’m gonna be preforming for band at NKY wish me luck 😭 I’ve only been in band for a month 😭
This songs a bop. Playing this for middle school band btw.
played oboe in this for a concert in october 2022, this was the song that finally forced me to learn how to play a d-flat
Girl same oboe buddies for life
SAME OMG (I'm a clarinetist, ALSO HELLO POKÉMON PROFILE PICTURE??)
A Spanish music band that’s sounds like Russian music and is played in American Schools. Mr.Worldwide 😎
The band is like que chingados porque los gringos los están asiendo
And the Russians are disappointed because they thought it was Russian band
And Americans are just hurt
I have to play this song for a completion and armory and mystery ride
It does not sound Russian. For a Spanish band it sounds a lot like a classic a American military march.
The snare rolls are too smooth!
Wow... So many people are playing this for band currently... we even played this for Symphonic band recently!
Oh I'm playing it for concert
Oh us too! I play percussion and I’m on snare for this song! Very fun!
Played this as one of our honor band pieces back in March. It was lit 🔥
Haylie H we did it better
Mr G just saw this comment lol but yes it was in 7th
U played this in honor band? I’m playing it in regular school rn for my LGPE
funny how im playing it in honor band too
@@blackrbx6259 I’m in concert band in 8th grade and we had a UIL competition yesterday. We got straight 1s on the stage and sight reading :)) anyways they talked to us saying we’re gonna fs play this song for our spring concert in may and in excited :)) we’re also thinking of during a Jurassic park song- but there’s so many high notes we’re not familiar with so it’s an iffy choice but we’re still thinking about it. Exited for this song tho ! Sounds so good
Playing this at band competition. Wish us luck.
Peachy Bee heyyyyy me too
Me as well, also love ur profile pic!
Same!
What's the competition called cuz I'm playing this for mpa
@@sparkydev4630 where playing for mpa to
I was looking through my old music and found this song and wanted to listen to it again
An online friend told me they where going to play this and now i like this song
Ha. One of my best band moments came from here. During class warmups, me (euph), friends (trumpet and percussion) started playing this in sync for fun. Because we all had leading parts in the beggining, people heard it and started joining in. We managed to get the entire band to play through, on speed, correctly, without a conductor. Man that was fun
Yes this definitely happened, the band totally didn’t just fuck around, they played the song, because a band would totally do that
@@waterbottle4542 haha, yea, usually I would agree with you. This was the band that actually cared, and wanted to be in band. Not like I get anything out of making this up.
We have fun it with the Dyck song...
Everyone agreed to learn it so randomly before class started me and my friends started playing the talking then everyone joined in. We managed to do with no metronome
Best part, the band director didnt know we all learned it so it was like a surprise consert for her
@Evan Clark Just laughing
lol the thing that all bands strive to do
Playing this on trumpet, as someone who’s not good with high notes, is hell
It took me a while as a trumpet to learn the high notes as well😂
high notes are easier if u kind of smile but they are still hard. the highest note i can play is high A
I have a love hate relationship with this piece
one of my fave songs I played in junior high
This was my favorite peice I played in my middle school band career I’m not gonna lie 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Playing this at concert

i played first clarinet and this piece was really fun in middle school. what a fun time
Riley Jaden I’m the second clarinet in my band we are super small so everyone is supposed to play at a 120% lol but it is a nice sounding piece just kinda hard to play with 3 clarinets and me playing catch-up
lol we had three clarinets as well. our band teacher was trying desperately to get more clarinets but we never did. it was tough for our harder pieces, but we made it through somehow
I played the Alto saxophone (still do) man good times as the teacher is yelling at you do play louder
@@samrtherat Ahh the good days, now my teacher is really chill, but will threaten to throw a chair at you if you can't play in time
@@rileyjaden1794 that's normal

@@Ashen5800 lol were there no bassoon players commenting on this video
Just played this song on Clarinet (I'm usually a Bass Clarinet) I'd say it was my favorite out of all of my UIL songs. Pretty easy, but requires focus.
Let me guess, other 2 were summit fanfare and Annunciation. Right?

I am playing this for MPA
claiming my spot in history, as my 7th grade band class played this in April.
A beautiful march I play percussion and playing bass drum for this
Cassette part was really fun to play really added character to the song and led more of the more aggressive parts
I'm playing this song this year in the honors band, it's my last year in middle school
Alanis Soleil Rodríguez Rosa I am playing this in 7th grade and we sound okay not goats but good

Finally found this song I played in 6th grade after 10 years

Playing this for middle school band. Tbh it’s sooooo easy on clarinet
it hits so hard tho
I played this and two other songs for LGPE and we got all 1s and we where only a 7th and 8th grade band.
I “played” this when I was Virtual all year last year
I’m bass drum for this song and it’s awesome 😎
Same
Remember playing this in 6th grade now I’m a junior
I just played this song in a band concert yesterday I played as trombone
hope u had tubas and if not, didnt mess us terribly in 1:05 which made you lose the excellent rating u orignally had on a competition
I am playing this for my 7th grade band (I play clairinet)
This is so ez like my band t eacher should give me something tough
Wow imagine not playing this in middle school band,
OMG THERES SO MANY MIDDLE SCHOOLERS-
ANY HORN PLAYER???
I had to play this song for a disney festival last year and since there were no tubas in my band, us trombones had to play 1:05. But i messed up so badly in that part that we lost 5 points and got a 79 rating. if i didnt mess up it wouldve been a score of 84
I played this and I was better than any other bass instrument. 😎
@@FN0844 during rehearsal i was doing way harder songs so im with u expect i choked
I played another song of this guy called caribbean dance and it is a w song

Playing this as a tuba

Played this for UIL, and it was fun, besides the fact we got 4's lol.
I play Tenor Saxophone and it's just so fun to hear all the low brass, low reeds and percussion. I sit in the back row with the lows. This song is super fun to play as a Tenor. I highly recommend Tenor to any Alto players out there. If you know, you know. (Also, you aren't very cool if you play careless whisper as a saxophone player. It pisses the band directors off.)
My sister plays this song we love it
0:05
Flutes on that one high c lol
I’m back
Please this music will in the soundcloud please
This song reminds me of the game uncharted
Where performing this peice for judges

@@LoisThePotato Clarinet
The best instrument
Me in the euph section about 3-4 years ago like: *BUM bum BUM bum BUM*
I’m 6th grade clarinet and my section doesn’t know how to play measure 9-25. Out concert is in 10 days
Play French horn, have the same part at 9-25, 9-17 is difficult but what’s so hard about 17-25? 9 is terrible like da da 🤫 da 🤫 da ( measure break) da da… come on
bro i love and hate this song, my band teacher teaching us this
my band teacher said that if we can’t master Night Fury by friday (tomorrow), we’re playing this
If you have to play this, practice it at home with this playing loudly, that's what worked for me.
