That Hilti with a 4 seems to be a beast. I’ve had experience with there corded tools years ago and they were sweet in the hand no other tool felt better or smoother

Hilti Nuron, released in March, has exceeded company expectations. I think we can see why!

Hi Dave, awesome demonstration ty, I have that Dewalt’s screw gun it’s off the hook for both cars and home repair, it sips on a 5ha battery all day, it’s tiny and very powerful, their both awesome tools,

In normal use, the Hilti has been working fine for me. There is definitely a difference between the compact 18650, the 4ah and then even the 8ah. However, I eventually got over it. I expected the Dewalt to run circles around it. I noticed it had a lot of grunt. When I got a power stack for it, they felt made for each other. I like how you can use speed one as a sort of auto clutch.

Hey Dave you should cut a dedicated socket down from being ~1" deep to only ~3/8" so that when you do these tests you're seeing if the tool can actually sink the screw rather than fight the socket pinching when it meets the log. When I'm sinking lags I usually hold the socket back so the end of the socket is flush with the bottom of the head of the lag. It works a lot better.

I bought the Dewalt atomic impact gun and returned it the same week. My impact gun is my main tool in commercial steel stud framing, and the Atomic got so hot it was burning me.

Mind that it’s extra wide and quite tall. Under the hood, there is not a spare micron of space. Really quite impressive. The Hilti is definitely a heavier duty build, pros and cons.

Yeah do any test with a hilti and any tool for several hours see what tool is gonna work like in the first minut and what tool is gonna break like a toy. You can't compare hilti with nothing to be honest they have their own league. I had them all(electrician in europe) and trust me we have reinforced concrete and bricks on a daily basis not wood like you guys. Hilti is just hilti, if u use a drill/machine from bosch makita or other brands 6/8 hours at least its gonna break in 1/2 days. You use hilti 30 days daily still runs like new.

After consulting festiol, compared to Hilti, Milwaukee, Makita, Bosch and metabo.
Festool is for cabinet makers and furniture makers
    Milwaukee plumbers and electricians
    Makita construction
    Metabo carpenters
    Hilti durable construction
    Bosch decent tools
    DeWalt apprentice grade

Why would Hilti introduce a whole new line with NURON 22v and not switch to better Cells at least. Kind of counterintuitive.

    • @Biaanca5036
      @Biaanca5036 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

For each voltage HILTI always makes their lowest-capacity battery a 'compact small sized' 18650 2.6 Ah pack. It's the exception.
Even their 12v batteries are this way, with only the 'basic' 2.6Ah using 18650s while the bigger one is 21700s

These tool testers need to us a more consistent material to run test. In place of logs in end grain at different density locations where a tree might have developed stress would or have my organic inconsistency how about maybe an enginered lumber...... with a standard hand drill press jig, loaded with maybe a weight for consistent load on the drive. Your welcome youtube
