That Hilti with a 4 seems to be a beast. I’ve had experience with there corded tools years ago and they were sweet in the hand no other tool felt better or smoother
Hi Dave, awesome demonstration ty, I have that Dewalt’s screw gun it’s off the hook for both cars and home repair, it sips on a 5ha battery all day, it’s tiny and very powerful, their both awesome tools,
In normal use, the Hilti has been working fine for me. There is definitely a difference between the compact 18650, the 4ah and then even the 8ah. However, I eventually got over it. I expected the Dewalt to run circles around it. I noticed it had a lot of grunt. When I got a power stack for it, they felt made for each other. I like how you can use speed one as a sort of auto clutch.
Hey Dave you should cut a dedicated socket down from being ~1" deep to only ~3/8" so that when you do these tests you're seeing if the tool can actually sink the screw rather than fight the socket pinching when it meets the log. When I'm sinking lags I usually hold the socket back so the end of the socket is flush with the bottom of the head of the lag. It works a lot better.
I bought the Dewalt atomic impact gun and returned it the same week. My impact gun is my main tool in commercial steel stud framing, and the Atomic got so hot it was burning me.
Mind that it’s extra wide and quite tall. Under the hood, there is not a spare micron of space. Really quite impressive. The Hilti is definitely a heavier duty build, pros and cons.
@mancavertools Dave bro you have to try the flex 24v fan by far the fastest longest lasting fan ever... makes the aircannon seam like its not even blowing its absolutely amazing please show this fan to everyone.. it would take you to show how bad ass it is it rocks
Yeah do any test with a hilti and any tool for several hours see what tool is gonna work like in the first minut and what tool is gonna break like a toy. You can't compare hilti with nothing to be honest they have their own league. I had them all(electrician in europe) and trust me we have reinforced concrete and bricks on a daily basis not wood like you guys. Hilti is just hilti, if u use a drill/machine from bosch makita or other brands 6/8 hours at least its gonna break in 1/2 days. You use hilti 30 days daily still runs like new.
After consulting festiol, compared to Hilti, Milwaukee, Makita, Bosch and metabo. Festool is for cabinet makers and furniture makers Milwaukee plumbers and electricians Makita construction Metabo carpenters Hilti durable construction Bosch decent tools DeWalt apprentice grade
For each voltage HILTI always makes their lowest-capacity battery a 'compact small sized' 18650 2.6 Ah pack. It's the exception. Even their 12v batteries are this way, with only the 'basic' 2.6Ah using 18650s while the bigger one is 21700s
These tool testers need to us a more consistent material to run test. In place of logs in end grain at different density locations where a tree might have developed stress would or have my organic inconsistency how about maybe an enginered lumber...... with a standard hand drill press jig, loaded with maybe a weight for consistent load on the drive. Your welcome youtube
i'm a dewalt guy but that hilti nuron looks so good with that ring light

Try a makita japanese driver!
Hilti Nuron, released in March, has exceeded company expectations. I think we can see why!

Awesome idea man
Dewalt is a better tool with amazing powerstack but that hilti looks so cool
that 850 is amazing

Hilti came a long way! Awesome video Dave👊
Blessed be the barrel grip cracks me up 😂
Loving the new Hilti Nuron stuff. Just so much more power than my other brands
I love the new HILTI NURON tools as well
Lol Nice belts clip Dave cool versus too
Been waiting to see this one. That Hilti on the 4 seems really strong. Also the light on it is incredible. Great work as always.
Awesome ! gonna watch the whole thing !
I always wanted you guys whole vids to help you and brother you need a Milwaukee ho 6.0
I dont even wanna see the drill in action without its full potential
Can you do versus video dewalt high torque impact wrench .
I still can't get over how tiny that little DeWalt is!
And it's the same specs as the 887 XR
Mind that it’s extra wide and quite tall. Under the hood, there is not a spare micron of space. Really quite impressive. The Hilti is definitely a heavier duty build, pros and cons.
I have it and it struggles
I like the Hilti except for the battery size. They look like something you might put under the hood of your car 🤣
I guess since Milwaukee isn’t in this race someone had to play winner. 🤷🏾♂️
If price was no option, Id definitely go with hilti. It looks better lol

Согласен с вами, отличный выбор!!! Но среди профиинструментов-Макита бесспорно первая, но Хилти, Фестулл, Мафелл-1 лига!!!
Never used any Hilti tools, but big fan of that 850. Thanks for the video.

Festool is for cabinet makers and furniture makers
Milwaukee plumbers and electricians
Makita construction
Metabo carpenters
Hilti durable construction
Bosch decent tools
DeWalt apprentice grade
3 Year Warranty with DeWalt.
What is that mean? They replace the batteries and charger for free?
where did you get the gloves and hat
Dave, Gen 2 or Gen 3 impact? Which do you like best or no difference to you....
Hilti Tool Company relies on the quality of the battery, the strength of torque, and the longer duration of the equipment🎉🎉
Lol ya I've got 2 dewalt 20 volt fans and use them all the time
Why would Hilti introduce a whole new line with NURON 22v and not switch to better Cells at least. Kind of counterintuitive.

when it says like 40v. it’s usually just a way of selling your items
do you know when dewalt will come out with larger ah powerstack batteries
I do not but I am waiting for them
Mate Flex impact quick reject Stakect Battery VS M18 Fuel HO battery! I think Flex kill M18 !! Mate Make the Batlle thanks
DeWalt needs a stacked 5ah battery besides the 1.7
I agree

Hilti really has 2655 inch pounds? Wow
Noice!
Hello
Can tell you were being biased and trying to favor DeWalt on this test lol
if i see yellow tools, i wanna puke on them. 🤮🤮🤮
lol
Come on Hilti and dewank should not even be in the same sentence who compares Chinese rubbish with Liechtenstein technology
you have no idea what mean for Made in China. Let me tell you, the same price, better quality. the same quality, cheaper price.
Yeah hilti is made in China stupid the dewalt is made usa 🇺🇸
ПРЕДВЗЯТО ! на девольт давит излишне сильно на хилти вообще никак )))
