The thing with these field units is, future units will not be free, and the ability to extend zones only after the first sync will feel limited and clunky. Not really excited for this new role unless they make it so that the field effect extends after every sync move instead of just the first one, which they probably won't do. It wouldn't even be overpowered because you have to actually keep syncing with the field unit to keep the zone, which would prevent other sync nukers from syncing. They probably just want to capitalize on limited units who do have this passive though like Cynthia
Always nice to get free units, but this new field role feels pointless. You still need to buff your Pokémon first few turns so don’t get the full benefit of zone on entry and the sync zone is just the first time unlike Cynthia’s fighting zone
To be fair, the zone on entry is in Victor’s passives, not part of his new role. We could get a field role in the future with (type) Wish and their sync will just act as an extra one. I’d like the inclusion of the field role if it meant that units who can set up zone, terrain on weather, would be more accessible even if they aren’t the greatest like Victor. Definitely more interested in this than the sprint role.

It's better than an All-Tech role in 1 month tbh, Tech does almost EVERYTHING that Strikers and Support roles do, they are starting to extinct. Setting Zone/Weather/Terrain, Sync Countdown acceleration, DPS, debuffing opponents, high-DMG Sync Nuke, applying Status and Infliction,... I'm so tired of it, it's not even funny. So, Dena create the new roles to seperate them. And count me in for Dena's decision.
I think once they release more sprint/field units, a valid option would be to sync sprint > field > striker to rush down the opponent, assuming the sprint pair has enough countdown in their kit to enable it.
So who do you think will be the 4th anniversary units cause they could either be anniversary seasonals (like Anni. Lillie, N and Steven) or they could be new Neo Champion units. Or they could just be those random units (like Ash, SS Thunderbolt Red and SS Aura Cynthia)

I'm just planning to use them as a pseudo-tank support similar to how I still use PDawn. Is it probably going to be straight-up worse than the HJasmine I'm replacing? Yes, but Spectrier is neat and I have zone compulsion.
Abilities depend on what you need that unit for If you want slightly more damage to help you nuke go Crit Strike 2 If you want it to tank hits until it sets the terrain, try Vigilance, and so on
If you're Syncing w/ another Ghost Sync nuker first cycle, just HS1. Even if you have another HS1 teammate, his own HS1 could allow him to Max Phantasm before a physical Sync in that case. Unfort, I couldn't roll HS1 on him (had to settle for CS2, which at least helps his Max move damage), and they haven't rerun the HS1 guaranteed cookie since the beginning of the LGs. I really wish they would bring back the more popular past guaranteed cookies like HS1, SP3, and WW3. Those are way too important to be limited to only 3 per account.

This one is more like insulting, he did not get a pair for anniversary or any pair aside from his default. And once he get it its pointless pair that almost useless and no costume. And Gloria got another pair again after she already get 4. Maybe whoever in charge is a lolicon😂
Ya, none of them are that bulky, but out of those three, it might be roughly equal btwn Spectrier and Lunala. Lunala has Healthy Benefits 5, Potions, and maybe the Danger Damage Guard at 3/5 (maybe negligible though). But Spectrier has a more readily available Max Guard (like to use immediately before the opponent Syncs, for example) and a Max Damage Guard for himself, so he can use the Max Guard on a teammate (that can potentially tank better than him b/c of it) in addition. And also a phys damage reduction upon entry, but that's prob the weakest of all its defensive tools b/c it'll disappear before the opponent's first Sync. Timing Shadow Force dodges and countdown misses w/ Giratina is generally more difficult than just Max Guarding, but if you do become good at it, it's technically at least 3 turns of taking 0 damage, not including Sync damage (Spectrier can Max Guard at that point though).
so far every August 18th we've gotten at least a teaser (1st anni we got ex and master mode revealed, do not remember if blue and leaf were revealed though. 2nd anni we got Anni N revealed and 3rd anni we got Ash, maybe even Red cannot remember it now), so we'll see if we get anything tomorrow
Kinda disappointed that EX Fields don't extend all current field effects at first Sync. Would've been nice for teams like Maxie+Courtney, SS Acerola+Adaman, etc. But limiting his EX Sync use to only Ghost teams feels pretty boring and distasteful (his Max Quake also isn't that useful on Ground-weak b/c it's the weakest Quake by far, and there is no spec Ground unit w/ Smart Cookie/Brute Wits yet that can take advantage of his buffs). So from this, we can prob extrapolate that EX Field Syncs will be the least applicable in a wide variety of scenarios compared to Syncs of all other Roles... Unless future Fields get multiple field effects on their first Sync, or infinite sets of a field effect as long as they Sync (like various other non-Field units that are currently in the game). Then, E.Victor would only have to suffer the usual "first is the worst" trope. I like the pairing at least, not as much as I'd like an Expedition Outfit Victor & Shadow Rider Calyrex, but it's a small step in that direction.

With spectrier I was able to get a max sync nuke with allister (first sync)
He did 26k but yeah, spectier is not that good..
There will be no more broken units, and if there is one will be pretty exclusive and difficult to obtain.
