Thanks for getting to the respawn mechanic so quickly. The exact implementation of this feature is often glossed over by these so called gaming review sites. The respawn mechanic often makes up a good 50% of my gameplay, so it's wonderful that you're giving it the prominent attention that it deserves.
I love the way you communicate with us viewers. Natural and genuine interest. Love that dude. Human like in a TH-cam world full of artificial demeanors and roles every other TH-camr tries to play. If dogma 2 was multiplayer, I’d def wanna be playing w u 👍
Appreciate the showing of the respawn stone. The first one was a bit quick and didn't quite get to see it all to well but glad you did it again for educational purposes. Thanks for the great video! Eases the pain a bit in the long wait still ahead for launch.
so will the game feature a "cosmetics" option? i didnt like the look of most of what my gear looked like in the first game due to color schemes not matching. would i be able to cosmetically equip gear just for their looks while keeping my gear on for their stats? maybe even dye the clothing?
@@blake714 there’s no clothing layers either. The cosmetics have been “simplified” and now only include an upper body slot, lower body slot, helmet, and a cloak.
He has a warrior pawn in his party, at 1:18 you can see the edge of a shockwave in the left side, that is a vocation skill which is a roar that attracts enemies to fight him. Pawns will use support abilities when the arisen is in danger, so a mage would heal, fighters and warrior will draw aggro. In this case the arisen lost a lot of health (and died) triggering the pawn to use it’s roar to draw aggro away from the player. You’ll also notice that the pack of goblins go from swarming the player and all go straight for the warrior, avoiding the player and the other pawns.
I like that the best way to turn you pawn back to normal after they're driven to madness by the dragon it's just killing them like in the first game just look at 7:38
It depends how far you can level up. I guess they want some stuff to be something of a challenge to full builds. Maybe that dragon would be a pushover at full build.
It’s an unlocked frame rate it’s not capped at 30 FPS. I’ve seen PS5 gameplay that’s smooth and then the frame rate dips a little when it’s an intense battle. You’re probably someone who spent 5000 dollars to wait for games to come out 2-4 years later 😂😂😂
wow the most generic boring interaction with the enemy after death, it just cuts you out of the loop and goes trough the boring animation , wow that's so pathetic , like tech from the stoneage

Dying and respawning makes up 50% of your gameplay?! 😂
Once you get enough wakestones its a main gameplah feature for me lol@@shinigami891

Now this looks interesting, looking forward to seeing more!

No
@@thebigenchilada678 no to the whole thing?
@@blake714 yes
@@thebigenchilada678 ugh laaame. just hope the clothing is better this time around

this looks miles better than the first thanks for a great smidgeon of a review bongeh!
The enemy A.I is abysmal. Orc just waiting for you and then walking like nothing is happening.

I love the exhausted status effect... When you run out of stamina, your character looks very lethargic
4:21 That's jokes , the warrior hitting the ogre in the throat with their pommel
5:37 In the bottom left, one of the commands tells your pawns to wait.
when the devs are going to adress the weapon cloth clipping
When someone makes a console friendly engine plug-in or engine designed to address it.
Can the HUD be customised / turned off etc?
Yes 🙌
Thank you!!! It’s really just the option to turn off the on screen button mapping and probably the mini map… but that’s fantastic news!
A "Bigfoot" (as you called it) that has 1 singular eye is actually called a "Cyclops" I believe... 😂
lol

Just the announcement of this game exploded my heart The hype is removing years from my life at this point.
That was a good dragon , he would have flowen you around the map.
Looks like using magic is only PARTIALLY blinding as opposed to the 1st game... That's good!
Yeah, keep in mind that we didn't see the endgame spells, which were the blinding ones in the first game xD
hmmmm interesting game, great vid
Won’t be buying but I think it will have a smaller following that enjoy it.
Can you adjust the camera a little farther back?
LOTR meets monster hunter?
Nitty gritty is my favourite.
in 4k yes, but with 20 fps wow....
hope the pc version is truly UNCAPPED
The health bars on some creatures little ridiculous though.

might as well stick to the first one
I just cant wait to play as an archer 😂
And be the asshole arisen
robin the bad hood
@votpavel
Robin hood meets Rance [since we have brothels its 100% even funnier]
Clipping through cape, can no game fix this!
Not without blowing up consoles.
Looks... Gamey
A videogame being… gamey? The scandal!
Lmao they kept the exact same animation for running out of stamina
Looks great! needs more space bugs and robots
Poor implementation of SSR, too bad
Dragon's Dogma 2 looks amazing in 24 fps!
Whatever it was I didn't notice any frames issue watching it.
30fps kills this sadly. It's 2024 ffs
PC master race?
As if it does
Yup, I cancelled my preorder couple minutes ago after finding this out
I bet it sales extremely well without you guys
