Carmen's Sacrifice trigger works when any player sacrifices, including yourself. Considering Orzhov Vampires tend to have a lot of token generation and sac outlets you don't need to rely on your opponents to benefit from it.

The value of this deck seems insane, and Master of rites is truly a powerful new card. Always wanted a White Vampire deck, just a shame that crimson vow vampiric bloodlines didn't do this kind of justice for a red vampire deck.

So we get more fun and interesting videos of gameplay or game theory 😊 Thank you for your work!

Carmen is a sac outlet. Sacrifice a cheap vampire (with a cool ETB) before the attack step, turn Carmen sideways, pull it back out of the graveyard, rinse lather repeat.
Others may have already commented, but hierophant means priest or a priest-like figure. It’s a loanword from Greek. I’m sure there are contexts that differentiate a hierophant proper from a priest or a cleric, but priest is a “close enough” gloss to give you a point of reference.
This is my favourite into, hands down, and it’s not even close. Jimmy not sure if you will see this but I thought you were hiding billy back there somewhere!
It would be nice if during the stat breakdown you guys quickly went through (or just showed on screen???) which cards you're counting in which category. Hard to know with the ramp in this deck if you're counting the sneaky white stuff or not
One thing that should be noted about Charismatic Conqueror is that it's an ETB trigger, meaning your opponents can tap mana rocks in response and still get the mana when they play them. This card will probably only matter for creatures that are needed on defense, or that have haste. Edit: Actually maybe if you do tap it for mana, then you can no longer "pay the cost" of the trigger and then your opponent will get a 1/1 anyways. Not sure about that rules interaction
It’s so funny. I have a vampire deck when crimson vow came out, built out of what was in it and most of it is what’s in this deck. I obviously use a different commander that’s black/red but almost all the cards I could play from this deck are in it.
This precon is awesome. Love the synergies, and it comes with exquisite blood. So many cards go infinite with that. Jist Add vito thorn of the dusk rose for $5 .
You guys really need to start touring. That song was actually really really well done, I honestly felt like there didn’t need to be any background noise with jimmy causing such sweet rhythms.
20:30 This is the kind of convoke cards that should be designed. Since convoke is terrible if you're behind, and an uncomfortable choice at best if you have the board state to utilize it, the reward needs to be worth it. Zephyr Singer is another example of a reward for locking down your board.

In that case you would get the 1/1 because they aren't able to fulfill the cost imposed by charismatic. So it's not too bad.
