Thanks a bunch for another great video. As a amatuer vineyard user here in the Southeast without another close vineyard to visit, its great to see you do all the detail work and learn how a pro does it.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge in these videos. This spring will mark the start of my own vineyard in Illinois and also with any luck I will be making a property purchase of a vineyard that i wish to grow in the future to a winery. Very busy getting all of the supplies and materials and plants ordered for this coming year. Thank you for all of your help!!

Excellent videos - thank you so much for making these. I have about 15 grape vines and have been putting off actually trellising etc for too long because I did not know how it was properly done. Pretty simple really but if you have never seen it first hand it can be a daunting task.

Thank you for sharing this information. I too am going to start a vineyard soon and it will be in Indiana. Very useful information and I liked how you kept it very basic.

    Hi EmissionsWorkshop
Happy to hear you you are enjoying the series, its has been a really nice process to go through for me too. Thanks very much for your observations on the sound, didn't notice that when it was up loaded. I will see I can figure out what contributes to it.
We are working on the idea of putting the whole series on a DVD, so I am sure we will get great stereo then.
    Thanks again for tuning in,
    Dave

    Hello wheelman10122
Thanks very much, they are fun to do. With the wet weather over things are happening a bit faster now, should have a few more videos in the next few weeks.

    Hi colinfiona1
As you well know, it has been a wet winter. I am happy to be getting everything finished up. The row / vine spacing is 4 x 4. I wanted to duplicate my Oak Knoll AVA vineyard. The drip wire is at about 13" and the 2 fruiting wires are at 28" & 35". Which still leaves about 4' for shoot growth. They vary a bit through the rows. For a cover crop I like to use clover where nitrogen is needed or different grasses in spots that need to be dried out from winter rains.
    Thanks
    Dave

Excellent Dave! I have been waiting for this episode. Can you comment on the height of the wires and the spacing of your vines/rows. Also, your philosophy on cover crops? We are preparing to install posts soon in the 'microvineyard' in Sonoma and may get in touch for some advice. Thanks.

best trellis/irrigation demo Ive seen thk u, keep em coming please. What angle are the end posts at? I plan on using this system, since u gave great detail for amatuers to go by. The only thing, Maybe I missed it was that outward angle of the posts. Thks

Been very impressed with step by step and logistics necessary for a 1 acre vineyard.
What did it cost to build it? Do you have a materials list used and their costs?
To include the end post pile driver.
I want to begin with 1 aces in Western VA. On a 74 acre property.
Thank you for the comprehensive snow.
    Chris

    Hello aligzaidi
Happy to hear the videos helped. I am not sure how close you are to California, but there is a good wine grape nursery called Nova Vine not too far from here. They have a web site with all their varieties available and some of their shipping information.
    Thanks for watching,
    Dave
