Finding a Giant Brown Trout!! (Streamer Fishing)

  • Streamer fishing is all about time on the water, the big fish are out there, it's just whether or not all the right factors come together at the right time for you to trick one of these wise fish into eating your fly. Most of the time things don't go your way, but when they finally do, suddenly all that time spent becomes worth it. And on this trip that was the case with Andrew landing a 24 inch brown trout.
When catching one of these giant brown trout you know that decision to tie on that streamer was the right one and the chance you took that day paid off. I hope you guys enjoy this video, thanks for watching.

What a Big Beautiful Brown Trout, my Friend! Such FUN! I was blessed with a four pound Saltwater Rainbow Trout that I struggled with using 2-pound test, while Free-ling a FAT Shrimp, on some Grass-Flats...No leader, line was very tired from a full day of catching. She was so FAT there was no chance she'd give me a Dance , but by Grannies, she danced like a Pretty little Show girl seeking big Tips. She was, of course also trying to earn her Freedom. She took the #4 position in a contest we didn't even know was being held and got her picture in the paper just for being so Pretty. She ate well too. Thank you for bringing a smile to this Ol' Man's face, Brother~~~

What a fabulous fish. As I've previously said here in the UK we always go by weight and never measure our fish so 24 inches dosent really convey much to me, it looked big, though!

@@benrudman3917yes I've seen it. I have no problem with people fishing during the spawn, I bought some great rainbows below the redds, but it's not cool to fish on the gravel while they're actively spawning.
You can see the rubbed gravel on the bank. Yes if you are trying to eradicate browns in a certain stream for natives, have at it but most large eastern rivers rely on wild.spawing for the betterment of.thr resource. Yes you are releasing them but those poor old hens are tired and week.
It takes no skill to take a large brown off the gravel, anyone can be a hero. That's just my thought.
