    Does wood materials affect the sound? i got curious bcs squier uses various wood like poplar, nato, basswood, and agathis. Anyways great content as always. Cheers

      Different woods will produce different tones - this will change depending on the tightness and flow of the grain. Hope that helps and thanks again for watching!

    What I do like to know is what are you playing through as far as an amp goes or are you playing through a lap top with some app that you are using? I prefer straight into the amp so that you can hear the true sound of your instrument. Unadulterated sound.

  • @1thess523
    @1thess523 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Man that sounds better than my Mexican Fender even with Lollar pick ups. I'm going to add a high mass bridge to see if that brightens it up to get this type of tone

    • @91cog

      You get a lot of tone for not a lot of money with the CV 60s P Bass! Thanks for watching

    I'm thinking of buying a bass, but I don't know which one, I like the squire pbass cv 50's but also the jaguar bass cv, if you help me I would really appreciate it

    • @91cog
      @91cog  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for your support Diego! The 50s pbass and jag bass are quite different and it would really depend on your own preferences. My own personal choice would be the CV Jaguar Bass, but I encourage you to try both in person. Hope that helps!

    I prefer this classic vibe 60s, but I'm not sure if it's good for play rock, a lot of people told me that the 70s version it's better for rock but honestly I like more the sound of the 60s. I'm just afraid that isn't good for rock

    • @91cog

    Honestly, we don’t need you to recite the specs of the bass that are viewable anywhere on the Internet. That’s pretty much a waste of time. While you have a nice, friendly face I feel we see too much of it in this video and too close up for my tastes. The portion of the video where you actually play the bass is the best and most interesting part and it’s far too short.

    • @91cog

      @@samlelowitchI appreciate that he gives out the specs and his opinion on the bass, the playing examples clearly demonstrate the sonic capabilities of this p bass, it has one passive pickup-its pretty straightforward.
