Thanks for the time and effort on the video. I had what seems to have been a similar issue on our 2011 SMAX 2.0 Titanium at 187K. The thing that threw me a bit was it was it came up just after I had replaced the clutch so I was suspicious that I had affected some of the DPF vaporiser or pump circuitry due to disruption around that area during those works. However, replacing the vaporiser, cleaning the DPF (powatec spray) and then doing the same steps with a Launch X431 seems to have fixed it. Time will tell. Exhaust temp now reaching 600C and soot load reduces significantly. DPF learnt values reset also.

I am curious as to why so many Garages cannot perform the DPF cleaning?
Not to detract from what you do Jimmy but it doesnt seem an overly complex job for a mechanic & the kit required is a few hundred quid.
Just doesn't make sense to me that a garage wouldn't get the equipment for this when it seems to be such a common fault.

Hi Jimmy I have the answer for the soot loop not resetting I've had this quite a few times it can get stuck on 300% once it gets that high and not move or reset the fix is a software update I've even had this confirmed by fords on more then once occasion and the software update has always fixed the issue
