Thanks for the time and effort on the video. I had what seems to have been a similar issue on our 2011 SMAX 2.0 Titanium at 187K. The thing that threw me a bit was it was it came up just after I had replaced the clutch so I was suspicious that I had affected some of the DPF vaporiser or pump circuitry due to disruption around that area during those works. However, replacing the vaporiser, cleaning the DPF (powatec spray) and then doing the same steps with a Launch X431 seems to have fixed it. Time will tell. Exhaust temp now reaching 600C and soot load reduces significantly. DPF learnt values reset also.
Hi. Great explanation. Need help. I have Focus 2.0 tdci 2011, and have same exaust assy like on that S-Max, with 3 sensor on DPF and a fuel vaporazer. I have problem finding right temp sens for dpf. What is the engine mark on that car and what year so I can find a part numbers. Thx in advance. Nenad from Czech republic
On my smax 2017 closeed loop is 77% and open loop is 91%. is this good or bad? there is no engine management light but i am just curious if that cause any issue.
I am curious as to why so many Garages cannot perform the DPF cleaning? Not to detract from what you do Jimmy but it doesnt seem an overly complex job for a mechanic & the kit required is a few hundred quid. Just doesn't make sense to me that a garage wouldn't get the equipment for this when it seems to be such a common fault.

Got an old snap on scanner and it won't let me clear the old data just gives me an error code on the scanner, does anyone know what causes this?
Snap on aren't good
@@ORileysAutos yea trying to convince the boss to get a launch snap on seems to be very hit and miss when it comes to what live data is available
Excellent ☘️
