  • We had recently been to Paakashala Heritage restaurant, situated at Uttarahalli, Bangalore. This restaurant is pioneered by K.N.Vasudev Adiga and it enjoys a great legacy of multi-decades.
    This eatery is very famous for vegetarian breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner and is bringing the taste of Udupi, the right flavours of Karavali. Paakashala is not only serving in different branches in Bangalore (Bengaluru), but also on the main highways connecting to Bangalore like Bangalore Mangalore highway etc.
    There is a special Udupi traditional food festival going on at Paakashala (all branches) called "Udupi Mrustanna Bhojana", a lunch combo till May 31st, 2023.
    This special combo Menu includes more than 30 different varieties of Udupi special food like Pathrode,Atrasa / Atrasu (Kajjaya), Ottu Shavige,Haal Ganji,Yellu Baayir,Neeru Dose, Ole Kadubu, Kotte Kadubu,Holige,Maavinakaayi Midi Uppinakayi (Mango Midi Pickle),Thambuli, Uddiana Happala (Pappad), Avalakki PAyasa etc.All these are served unlimited!!

Son of Shri K V Nagesh Rao and Smt. K N Saraswati of the iconic Brahmin’s Coffee Bar, a young Vasudeva Adiga chose to forge his own path in 1984 thereafter establishing a string of successful South Indian eateries. His relatively recent venture, Paakashala, although only a few years old, has amassed for itself a solid reputation built on “his promise” of serving tasty vegetarian fare with an eagle-eye focus on hygiene.
    Timings: 7 am to 10:30 pm
    Note: They get rather busy on weekends or holidays, but the service is quick and the sort that turns tables around rather quickly. So it isn’t too long a wait.
