With snow having fallen again in the city I live in the province of Quebec it feels nice to go somewhere hotter and devoid of snow.

So excited for this one! while reading the description for the story, pictures of myself appeared in my head of my spring break time in elementary school being spent with my grandparents who are snow birds who live half the year in Ft. Meyers, Florida. I would spend nights falling asleep on the lanai while a warm breeze was being complemented by the soft sound of the palm trees swaying from side to side and would occasionally hear a “jumping” fish splash around in the intercoastal water way in their backyard (I later learned they are called Mullet fish) Thanks for taking me back, michelle;)
How lucky to have snow bird grandparents-- I love those sounds and glad they conjured these memories! I think the sounds are somehow even more soothing when accompanied by an escape from the cold!

Greetings Michelle. I love this I used to go see sea turtles nesting to hours North of where I live. The trailer park had a Boganvillia hedge . Dad says its dirty stuff .
What a wonderful thing to be able to do. I used to love coming across them when I went to school in Hawaii. They are so majestic.
