I love following this channel! I made two dozen of these last night and took to work, for my lovely colleagues - it’s autumn here, cold and dark, and for our group a working the weekend at night. I suggested they put one of these into their faces and dream of tropic beaches. We drive trains all around southern Sweden so we have very diverse break times, yet all two dozen were gone within 4-5 hours and were the talk of the whole shift. Thanks, Sally, for the inspiration and instruction. 😎❤️
These look so delicious! I have to admit though that i always expect to see Sam's hand reaching out at the end of every video and grabbing a slice of whatever you've made. Thanks again for another delicious sounding recipe. Can't wait for the blueberry cheesecake. Love your work.
Mojito reminds me of going to Nikki Beach in Miami ( they make the BEST mojitos) They serve it in a ice cold pitcher, with lime wedges, mint and of course rum 🍹Amoretti makes a beautifully balanced spiced rum extract, for people who can’t or don’t drink.

Hi Sally. This look delicious . I would like to give you a tip. Try mixing the sugar with the lime zest first this will enhance more the oily lemony flavor into the sugar

New cupcaker here. Trying to make these for a Macmillan coffee morning tomorrow. I have followed the recipe but I seem to have less volume going into the cup. Also, I've got volcano tops - they are not flat. Nothing important - just wondering how I avoid the volcano tops for future coffee mornings. 🙂

Thanks Sally. That's what I tried to infuse mint to so I wouldn't have to use an extract but as I said. It didn't work. I'll give it a try but do a small batch. Don't want to waste that heavy whipping cream, 🤑
Oh my dayz these look good! One question.. towards the end the mint leaves if I was to make them a day before.. do we store the leaves at room temperature or in the fridge to dry? Thank you x
I haven't been this early in a long time. So excited for this one. Just one question. I already took a look at the ingredient list. I'm out of self rising flour. What do I need to add to my dry ingredients? I'm assuming baking powder but you know what they say about assuming, lol... 😟
I just took my batch out and tried half of the cupcake without frosting. I was a bit surprised. These are pretty sweet. Anyone else find this to be the case? Usually your cupcake/cake batter doesn't taste as sweet as those here in the states. I'm making SMBC to frost with (can't stand ABC regardless of the final flavor). Next time I make these I'm going to use less sugar. Can't wait to taste the final bake... 😋

Just baked these and as usual I only get 9 cupcakes from the recipe quantities, and one of those was slightly smaller than the others. They fill the cases - one tablespoon of mix in each roughly - where am I going wrong? Love your videos so can't understand what's going wrong?

yeah add baking powder to plain flour. there’s a tuesday tips video on how to do so😀
For every 150 grams flour add 10 grams bakingpowder (2 teaspoons)
