- In this video we are on the hunt for epic views and scenic trails at the beautiful Hardcastle Crags area of West Yorkshire. This circular walk takes you around some of the very best features of this National Trust site and offers both epic views from up high and peaceful woodland walking in the valleys!
Make sure you don't miss features such as Gibson Mill, Hardcastle Crags themselves and Lumb Falls to name a few! A great place for both families and seasoned hikers, Hardcastle Crags has something for everyone!

Heptonstall is interesting. It has 2 churches next to each other, one a ruin. It has a little museum. Many visit to see the resting place of the poet Sylvia Plath.

The place is beautiful but the price for parking is criminal £5 to with no alternative free on road parking available
We ended up parking at the Heponstall Social and Bowling Club and walked from there. There was no fee just a small donation box on the wall to put a few pounds in 👍 the fees at the main car park are crazy 😳
A fiver seems reasonable these days.
