If these two ever do work together again, it probably won't be more than only once more. But, the next time, the film needs a satisfying outcome, not a tragic one where one of them dies. If they do another film, then I would hope that they do homage to the whole "Leo & Kate" thing for the sake of the fans where the viewer sees the characters end the movie in love, together and they're actually both ALIVE. It's all about the iconography of the shared chemistry ending onscreen on a high note....not in a morgue, at the bottom of the ocean or in a cemetery. Been there, done that. If their next film is done right, then all the fangirls across the world get the outcome and the cinematic imagery they've wanted for ages. But, they need to be quick about it, because neither of them is getting any younger.
That's what happened to me and my boyfriend. We were best friends at school and then I had to leave...and realized there was something I couldn't bear ever parting with and he finally told me how he felt. Now we look back and laugh at ourselves! I love him more than I can say.
