Donut County is another happy game, in my opinion. Very chill and relaxing and it was a game I really loved playing after work to destress from the day.
Glad to see two of my absolute favorite games on here! Kirby's Epic Yarn is so easy but also so sweet and fun, except for the train, screw that train part. The Katamari series is probably my favorite game series, it's just wonderful. I can't wait until my daughter is old enough to experience it for herself instead of just watching me play it.
The Katamari games look all cute and sunny but when the timer starts counting down and you realize you're nowhere near as big as you need to be and you start scrambling and bashing into things it makes me heart race. Pokemon is my most relaxing game
The boyfriend in Unpacking is just the worst. I went to school for this diploma, you seriously can't take down ONE of those festival posters? And I can't even hang it in the BATHROOM!?
The perfect game to have a brighten day and a full weekend are the LEGO games in their different versions Star Wars, Batman, Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones and the Avengers

I would also recommend Tearaway! It's made by the same folks who made LittleBigPlanet and it's such a charming and wonderful little platformer, and the PS4 version is super cheap right now!
I can't say the wildcard entry sound filles me with joy...but more receptive to wildcard entries in general. Anytime i notice someone uses one in a best of list i can hear the jingle.
any Katamari game aside from Me & My Katamari on PSP ( seriously, using the face buttons for what's normally done with the right analog stick is awkward & uncomfortable & a dumb idea ) is a fun time ( except certain stages....Cow, bear, cowbear, hot/cold....especially in Katamari Forever's & Touch My Katamari's Katamari Drive modes... ) also: Animal Crossing series Cozy Grove ( just...ignore the actually semi depressing stories of the various ghost bears... ) Chibi-Robo ( just ignore the divorce plot a bit ) Endless Ocean the Starfy series ( though only the 5th game, localized as The Legendary Starfy, got released outside Japan ) New Pokemon Snap Cruis'n Blast
I would add Grow: Song of the Evertree to this lost. There's something super relaxing about just doing some magical gardening in your tree worlds and exploring/managing your growing town at its roots. Just ignore the fact that some of the world's you can make sometimes have eyes in... everything... and are all... fleshy... Thats3 not super common, anyway.

Me and my partner have 100%ed all the Lego games (working on Skywalker saga rn) and we love them a lot 🌟 also loved Unpacking! I wish it was longer

I would have chosen freaky form over pikinuki personally. It's similar to pikunikis platforming kinda but I find a ton of fun in creating monsters .

Id give a vote to Webbed, it is an incredibly adorable platformer about a little spider on a big quest.

Grow is fun but I actually think I enjoyed their first game yonder over grow. Grows town ppl r so hollow imo and its such a shame.
