Hi Erin, I'm a relatively new subscriber & am so happy I came across this video. Number one it's a great idea for using up stamps & all the mat board left over from our custom framing shop. Number two, I love the analogy you used about performing in front of an audience & having them sit there silently. I pictured a stand-up comedian bec people say my videos are funny. We'll all trying to create unique content & get noticed by the algorithms so thanks for saying that. Cheers, Hazel
What a novel way to use stamps - I never would have thought of it! Did you hear me shout to the video that you’d forgotten the ninth piece of matte board? My husband did and thought I was shouting at him 😂. Loving those charms!
lol-I did!! And I’d already washed my brush and put my stain away! So I “dipped” that last one and let that dry while I worked on the other ones. But it did end up taking a lot longer to dry! And the stain pooled funny-which I actually liked the look of once I dried with my heat gun. But phew! What a hiccup there for a bit!!
Wow! I never comment literarily, what a lovely surprise landing here today, painting my baubles and listening to you, really really enjoyed your content.sure was a shock to see only one comment, had a look and you’ve only recently loaded, looking forward to more.thank you tassie
Also I’d love to see you make the glue mix and experiment with the watercolor tubes. I’ve got a bunch leftover from an old art set and would love to use them for /something/
The charms came out lovely! I might have to give this a try! I was wondering if you also added water to your mix of coffee stain like Jo? I went and looked up her channel and looked for the video. I have never heard of a home made stain, thanks to you and your recommendation I will have to try it! TFS!
Yes-in the form of coffee, then I add extra instant coffee until I get the color I want. Remember the vanilla will also add liquid and water as well. I also add a smidge of alcohol to keep stuff from growing! Will do a video soon to demonstrate!!
??? Love this! Where do you find all the vintage stamps? What a great collection! Thx, too, for the matboard stain info. I had old matboard I tried to use for Eileen Hull journal covers and the separated. I hated to waste all the matboard, so now I have an idea how to "save" the rest of my scraps to get use.
Hi Didi! My vintage stamp collection started with an order from a vendor on either Etsy or Facebook, I can’t remember. But then, I was gifted an entire stamp collection from a friend and that’s where about 80% of my stash is from! I have a video from maybe 6 weeks ago where I sort through them all!
Oh! Please share your recipe for the matboard stain!
I love what you do! Your voice is calming in a hectic world. Show us some more of your homemade stains, etc!
Aw thank you! I’m trying to channel my inner Bob Ross!
Yes love all the ideas

I love making charms; they are amazing.
Thank you!!!
What a good idea! And yes I would like to see how you make the items you use regularly, especially the distress stains. 💜
Will do a video! Also check out my response to another comment-I went into a little more detail there as to the recipe-but stay tuned for video!

Thank you Wendy!!
Very Cool! I've been wanting something new to use my stamps :)
Nice.
Thanks, would have been nice to have a closer look at the end. Great idea, though, I have lots of stamps.
Sorry about that Annette! I’ll try to do better with that in future videos! Thanks for the feedback!

I will experiment! Just need to decide on a color…🤔
@@epapere do you like cool colors? A blue or a purple would be cool (no pun intended, hehe)
I already have a purple, but a blue would be lovely
