I hope you enjoy this VERY chatty and very simple junk journal tutorial made using an old padded mailer. I know we all love to purchase from Amazon and have tons of these mailers laying around so lets upcycle them into primitive, vintage style junk journals.This is the main tutorial but I will be posting more Shorts here on TH-cam showing howe I embellish and decorate this journal to finish it it! Thank you so much for doing this junk journal tutorial! I watch you all the time and I am subscribed to you but I just don’t comment. I LOVE making junk journals. It is such a great hobby and when I fill them, like my December daily and put all of our pictures in and journal my husband just loves it.
He will go back years and look at them. Journals are such a great keepsake.
Our oldest son (32 yrs old) just got married and I am in the process of making them a wedding junk journal. It’s a challenge for sure, but a lot of fun.

Wow! what a cool journal cover... it looks pretty like one I'm actually trying to make with similar Santa Claus head I printed on glossy paper & decorated more, on front cover.. I Love it, really fun!!!!

I love using padded envelopes as a base for journals! Also, I've only ever sewn the binding once. Ive never had a problem.
