I have watched many, many videos of Monte Carlo - Monaco and I can say without any doubt that this is one of the best videos I've seen. Spectacular filming. Well taken shots of all the beautiful places.

I was there last summer for a few hours,travelling from Nice,the rich boats never impressed me,i stood right were they were berthed,i kept thinking pay your taxes.lol
Nice was good for a day trip,but nothing really in it for the ordinary person,grand prix tunnel was cool,too hilly,train station was a funny design into the hill,i am glad i went,anothet place ticked off,Nice was excellent,will be going back for sure sometime.

I see it was published 5/2/2017 but was it filmed then? Seems like awfully nice weather for February. With few cars parked at the Hotel du Paris that it was certainly out of season? Very nice though!
It's nice to see the city not full of people as it gets during the Grand Prix. All the places you were able to film would have been crowded and difficult to shoot without someone jumping in your shot.
Perry Howard Thanks for this good recommendation, I think I will give it a try. I guess you are right, the mic beside the flash and hot shoe mount will make it tough for any windscreen.
Perry Howard Good suggestion, I'm definitely looking for a windscreen. But as this is the internal mic of the camera, it seems not to be that easy to find one.
Sorry for the late reply, I have been using mostly f5 to f8, depending on the scene. ISO kept as low as possible (100 to 400) and shutter in auto mode.
The this is what you get when everything is done up to a standard not down to a price., Were sufficient numbers of public servants are employed to ensure the difference is maintained.. Everything is neatly mowed and trimmed and polished. And property taxes are through the roof.... ;)
I wonder if there are any homeless people in Monaco? I was very glad when they came through to Nice to feed us one evening with the Croix Rouge. Kind regards LM

it seems we may have the same thing whern we fill a room with lots of people and then empty it...

What settings FZ300? Aperture f8 or f5. 6? You the settings of the camera changed? Thank you.

Those huge skyscrapers have ruined the beauty that was once Monte Carlo. Too crowded, too expensive. The only reason to live there is for tax dodging.
