Dear Tracey, I wasn't that interested in this publisher work at first. But then I did it and learnt a lot of new things in the process. Many thanks for that! I would be delighted if you did something to do with nature again: e.g. tracing photos of birds or butterflies with vectors and adding colour and textures. I particularly liked your flower lessons. This is a great tutorial, Tracey! I'm running into a problems though that you didn't cover. When I set my Body level 2 to start at a certain number - 1, 29, etc. - it changes all the L2 cells to start at that number!

Are you deselecting all of the L2 numbers that you don't want to change before changing the number using the "Start Numbering At" field in the Paragraph Panel? For example, if the trailing numbers at the end of the month (in other words the dates from the upcoming month) are correct and you don't need to change them, are you deselecting them before you change the starting number in the Paragraph panel? If not, that's going to change everything. At about 24:55 on the timeline I deselect the last day in January before I change the first three leading days to the 29-31. If I'm misunderstanding, and it's actually changing everything to the same number, can you please let me know the exact steps you're taking to change the number? As long as you use "Start Numbering At" in the Paragraph panel, it shouldn't give you the same number in each cell. Thank you again!
Thanks for the quick response, Tracey! Yep, I've deselected all the ones I don't want to change, but it's not only changing both the beginning and end dates, but it's changing the ones in other tables too! 😕 Everything that's L2 changes to the new starting number.
That's so strange! Did you make sure that the entire grid was Level 1 first by selecting all the cells and adding the L1 paragraph style to it before you selected individual dates to change to Level 2?
I did. The whole table as L1 to begin with then selecting the bits that sound be L2 (beginning and end of month separately) and changing the setting for those. It's very weird.
@@lindarobshaw hmmmm. Go to the Text Styles panel, click on the burger menu on the L2 style and choose Edit the style. Make sure that Level in the Bullets & Numbering is actually showing Level 2 and not one. If it's showing No Change or something like that, just set it to Level 2 and resave. See if that helps!

But as a digital planner im really struggling to fine a planner that suits me i usually have to buy multiples to get what i need. If you can please show how to create a simple planner im sure i will bw able to build up from thare. Thank you again for your wonderful tutorials

I have a question about the tutorial: why did you turn the stoke off on the master page, and not on the asset? Is it to give the freedom to use it with lines or simply remove it later as we go? I already saw a lot of things that could have saved me time in my 2024 digital planner. I can't wait to attend your new course.
Hi Te! I leave the stroke on the asset because I don't turn the strokes off on my tables until after I format them with the correct dates for whatever year I'm creating. I could do it with the lines off but I just find it easier to see what I'm doing, as well as make sure I don't need to adjust anything if I decide to change fonts, spacing, etc, with the grid lines on. It also helps to see the lines when I'm placing all the months on the page, so I can really get a feel for spacing. I would just prefer to adjust my dates first, then remove the lines as I go. Corel draw can create calender in seconds 😂
