hmm, the 60fps makes it look cheap and soap opera-like. it needs to be back in 24fps for the dynamic range of the action. This WAS the best king kong scene ever!
The jaws of Vastatosaurus rex are the strongest and most powerful of any terrestrial animal that had ever lived and are capable of exerting astonishing pressure to splinter bone and crush limbs. The V-Rex's razor-sharp peg-like teeth were specially adapted for stabbing and mashing. It is surprisingly flexible for an animal of its size, possessing a short, narrow rib cage and a large gap between its ribs and hips. The Vastatosaurus is also capable of running in short bursts of up to 25 miles per hour. It possesses broad feet, an adaptation that allows it to stalk through swampier terrain than what its bulk would otherwise support. Unlike its extinct ancestor Tyrannosaurus rex, V-Rex would use its arms to help pin meat against its body and prevent it from swinging around.
@@varunnayak8612 nah dont believe so, an ape this size would easily win im sure, its the same such as a giant vs a t rex, human giant would win as it is nuch more intelligent

@@bakedpotato2796 late reply, but pretty sure he was referring the lack of physics, and its effects on bodies, being presented in those films. He most likely used those films as examples of how Hollywood, as a rule, generally doesn't adhere to the laws of physics in most cases, mainly because if they did, those characters wouldn't survive 99% of the things they go through.
@@bakedpotato2796 example. In the very first Avengers movie, arguably the film that properly kicked off the MCU total, iron man was thrown out of his building by loki, only for his suit to fly towards him, go onto his body, and use repulsor lifts to stop Tony roughly 6 feet away the ground, and preventing him from turning into a smear on the road. However, if we're going by any semblance of how physics works, Tony stark would have 100% died right then and there, even though he didn't hit the ground. How? Well, if a human body is falling at terminal velocity, and is suddenly brought from that speed to zero, regardless of if they hit something or not, your body isn't going to withstand the G forces presented onto it. Your organs would essentially burst from the sudden stop. And that's the more prominent example of it, there's much more egregious examples later on, but that one always makes me chuckle. Regardless of the suit or not, a human body can't withstand going from max terminal speed to 0 in less than a second, doesn't matter if they have an iron man suit on or not, their insides are gonna go "BLEHH!!".
Now this is the law of the jungle, As old and as true as the sky, The ones that shall keep it may prosper, But the ones who try to eat Kong's new friend must die.
Very remarkable what they did with this. Peter Jackson definitely nailed the scene it could have flopped but I feel like it paid homage to the original well. I do, however, think that the 1933 scene is the superior of the two though and let me explain my opinion. The first film created the ultimate setting in just one small area to hold one of hollywood's most iconic fights in film. It didn't do anything extremely special besides the fact that a 24 foot gorilla was fighting a tyrannosaurus. The scene was focused on the fight, the cameras didn't move much, it let you focus in on what was happening instead of giving whiplash like in the 2005 version. Granted it was 1933 and having a dozen cameras around to take multiple shots of the scene was probably ridiculous at the time but you get my point. This scene, as greatly choreographed as it was, just seemed like too much to me. Having 2 other dinos get in on the fight was a tad excessive, the cliff and vines were a good touch but still probably didn't have to be a thing to make a great fight scene. The problem is that this version had released during the dawn of the superhero golden age of movies. That means the action scenes had to evolve with the time and that meant a dizzying rush of action. The original was like watching an MMA or Wrestling match, only with prehistoric contestants. It was badass, impressively choreographed and intense from beginning to end. Not to forget that Ann only had to scream once or twice to get the idea as well. Both movies had a remarkable experience but in most cases i'll always turn towards the original. Maybe not for the "pre-historical accuracy" - if that's even a thing - but just for how well they constructed everything with the simple tools they had for the time. 2005 is still a classic in my opinion, it's still a good movie and I'll still watch it but it's the lesser of the two. Whether or not you are pleased with some random ass hole on the internet critiquing movies that are years old, I hope you understand that I'm just stating an harmless criticism and not attacking either film or anyone's ego with a malicious intent.
