As an adult I can appreciate how long this movie is, I can also appreciate Peter Jackson taking a more sympathetic take on taking Kong out of his home and forcing him onto a stage. The shock he has reacting to just the cars of the city was lowkey heart breaking.
I still haven't seen the movie... I guess, it's because I've always hated watching Kong get hurt in those 2 old movies when I was a kid.. But it looks hilarious, specially that bugs and worms scene :-D
Stampede scene was far fetched; there is no way they could have survived that, no way Carl Denham could have kept up carrying all that gear and the unfit alcoholic he was

I know right. But at the same time, I've heard that Kong was never mentioned to be a gorilla. He is an ape like creature but particularly not a gorilla that too a silverback. But I loved 2005 Kong. It was easy to connect with.
