Great video Aaron, I haven't watched the original one but this was very useful. I'd appreciate more Solid Tools instructional videos as I often try things that don't work as I expect them too with Solid Tools first, or even second time of trying and find myself getting quite frustrated with what is clearly a very capable part of Sketchup.
Just beginning in Sketchup and this is a huge help with creating peaked pier caps and intersecting wall caps, etc. Moving from 2d cad software and really enjoying the videos. Thanks!

I've made lots of furniture like that, only with Sketchup 17 without solid tools.

The process is the same for either operating system. The only difference is where you turn on the Solid Tools toolbar.
