  • Welcome to the lyric video for Made in Abyss Season 2's 'Old Stories', composed by Kevin Penkin.
This song was sung in the language of The Abyss, so the lyrics were left to interpretation, but someone has worked hard to find the best matching lyrics, so feel free to thank them on Reddit, where the lyrics were posted.

A lot was unclear about this song, including who did the vocals, so I credited ラヌ (Lanux) as it was stated that this person was likely the one behind the beautiful vocals.
I do not own the rights to the music, nor the visuals.
I hope you can joyfully watch and listen to this video, may it help you sing this beautiful song ^-^
Please do consider subscribing, liking the video or leaving a comment. The latter would especially be very much appreciated ^-^
Special thanks to Kevin Penkin for yet another masterpiece and shield_br8kr for the lyrics!
Thank you for watching and Until Next Time!

    (Ne Mee Ah Seh--D)
I am here now - a statement of presence
(Kai Tee Tul Eh See Na Sah-Men)
I am waking up my memories of stories from my ancestors
(Ne Ee-Bee Swur Te Ee--Beh Sai Te)
I am gathering the essence of these stories and making them a part of me
    (Nwo Nin Te Hipu Tee)
These stories are the root of my culture and identity
    (Nuu-Aar Tweh)
They have been passed down for generations and carry the weight of my history
    (Se-Ah Na Bu Ree)
These stories give me comfort and remind me of where I come from
    (Te Se-Ah Fwa-Sil)
They are like a knowledge treasure that I will pass on to future generations
(Se-Ah Ta-Ah Ta-Fwol Den Fear Eh Se Ta Fwo Ro Di Rul)
They contain the wisdom of my people, and I will honor and respect them always
    (Eh See Ro--T)
This is something that is deeply ingrained in me and will never leave
(Let Meh Seh Tre Ver-Eh Swor Tih)
I will now tell these old stories
(Ke Nai Sa-Ee Ne Strof Fey En Mi Ned Sna)
They are filled with magic and wonder that captivate my mind, heart, and soul
    (Sa Men Ma-Ya Fta Righ--T)
They transport me to another time and place, where I can see the world through the eyes of my ancestors
    (Se Meh Har-Ya En-Thru)
They make me feel connected to something greater than myself
    (En Nwar--R)
As I tell them, I am surrounded by darkness
    (Lai Veh-Ee Tra-Uu Stru)
But these stories give me strength to shine a light in that darkness
    (Et Tee See En-Va--N)
And I know that I am not alone
(Ne Sai-Vul Lai-En Sa Dee Es-Swu Sen La)
These stories are like a guiding star that leads me on my journey
(Eh Fee Ris-Ken Ta Ni Eh Stru Di-Ah Sad-Larn)
They teach me valuable lessons about life and how to navigate its challenges
    (Yen Deh-Eh-Ra-Te)
And they remind me to always respect and honor my heritage
    (Eh Ta Re Te-Oh-Ra-Te)
To always keep these stories alive and pass them on to the next generation
    (Eh Ra Re Te-Oh-Ra-Te)
To let them be a source of inspiration and guidance
    (Eh Ra Ren Te-Oh-Ra-Te--)
To never forget where I come from
    (Loi. Pur)
Through these stories, I find purpose
(Et Ki-Re Sed Mi Hwo La See Te-Ahl)
They help me to understand and appreciate the world around me
    (Eh Seer Te Fwo-Ra)
They give me a different perspective on life
    (Ir. Lu)
And they help me to grow as a person
(Eh Seer-Yo Tar Meh Yer-Meh-Ahd-Sen Ta)
They show me how to be a better human being and how to treat others with kindness and respect
    (Eh Seer-Yo He Far Twor)
They open my mind to new ideas and possibilities
    (En... Tra)
Through these stories, I am transformed
    (Loi... Pu)
And I find a sense of peace and wholeness
    (Seer. Twed)
These stories are an integral part of who I am
(Eh Seer Yo Kimi So-D De Fa Ti Pul)
They are like a compass that guides me on my journey through life
    (Eh Sir-Ya Ya Mee)
And they remind me that I am never truly alone
    (Vir. Twul)
These stories are a gift, and I treasure them always
(Ee Fa La Ya-Bai Se-Re Ah Twe Ta)
They bring me joy and happiness, and I am grateful for them
    (Eh Se-Ra Ah Fwa Pu)
Through these stories, I am inspired to be a better person
(Eh See-Dee Twe De Ah-AAH En So Fa Mu)
They remind me of the power of storytelling and how it brings people together
    (En Feer-Ren Bla)
And they show me that we are all connected by our shared human experience
(En Reh Meh See Re Feer-Twa)
Through these stories, I am filled with wonder and amazement
(Eh Tra Ta Seer Nwo See Twuor-Du)
And I realize that these stories will live on forever, shaping the lives of countless generations to come
    (En Le Meh See-Ah)
And so, I tell these old stories
(En Le Meh Seer Te Twuol Twueh)
Hoping that they will inspire others to do the same

Reddit thread was closed but having a decent understanding of several languages and listening to the sounds since it follows at least a bit of format.
While the phonetic translation is decent, formatting it the way it is kind of does it injustice, since a lot of the time it's done with no sizeable pause.
Anyway the first verse might loosely translate to something like (tried to keep the same format)
    A(ne) brand-new day..
Awake everyone(tee), for it is(eh see) important.
A(ne) Great joy we(te) might claim for us(te)
    Not just us(te) but everyone(tee)
    it's clear..
    Today(se-ah) may be poor.
    We(te) have Tomorrow also
Days after will be granted if it (eh see) to be.
    it is(eh see) time..
Only real thing I don't like is that 'Fwaah' and 'Fwoah' seem like they could be subtractions/contradictions/negatives but I don't think this language Is really made to be in English. But who knows maybe Kevin will give is the Abyss-Bhed primers to unlock it one day 😂
