Tungnath Temple in Uttarakhand is one of the highest Shiva temples in the world and is the highest of the five Panch Kedar. Panch Kedar are Kedarnath, Madhyamaheshwar, Tungnath, Rudranath & Kalpeshwar. Trek to Tungnath starts from Chopta with a total distance for 3.5 Kms, after Tungnath you can also trek 1 Kms to reach Chandrashila Peak to a 360 Degree view of himalayan peaks like Nandadevi, Trisul, Kedar Peak, Bandarpunch and Chaukhamba.
