    Why did the fan come back on when you reversed the wires, after you cooled off the probe and the fan stopped? Did your cameraman turn the dial on the thermostat? We saw the fan stop because you put the probe in water and therefor the cold probe stopped power from going to fan, but yet when you reversed polarity the fan all of a sudden it had power again.

    Never mind. Found it on ebay under, Adjustable Electric Fan Thermostat Switch Radiator Temperature Control Probe Kit.

    hello... when I install this to my single 16" fan in my car Do i need to add a relay or no need and why ?

      Hi, I was sent this 120 Watt fan by mistake. In reality it is only 80 Watts so no need for a relay as the thermostat is rated for ten amps and the fan pulls a miserable 6.7 Amps.
      A true 120 Watt fan would require a relay to protect the thermostat contacts from damage.

    Anyone know prong number 1 for? Or it's totally blank? I need to trigger the fan with positive signal from a/c compressor, is it possible?

    you really should run a relay before that switch or that switch will not last long

    • @randyaramos7261
      @randyaramos7261 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can either do it on the hose or Carefully inserted through the radiator without damaging the cells
