- Vajrayogini in a dancing posture and Vajravarahi in a dancing posture are identical in appearance, posture, color, and demeanor except for one small characteristic. Vajravarahi has the small head of a sow (pig, boar) depicted either on the right side of the face or on the top of her head with the sow looking upward. Vajrayogini in a dancing posture has no extra sow face or head. Sometimes when placed on the crown of the head the sow face can be hard to see and identify.

The LACMA Vajravarahi presented quite a puzzle with respect to this ambiguity, when working only with digital images - the sow’s head, as it turns out, is on the reverse of the Densatil, and only visible from there
Sooo... All Vajravarahis are Vajrayoginis but not all Vajrayoginis are Varahis.
Okay!
I'm fascinated
What are your referring to?
Is akash jogini the same situation with with Vajra yogi & Vajravarahi?
Could Dancing Vagra Yogini have derived from Dancing Ganesha?
Not likely.
