I’m in a similar boat, I own more colognes than I can count. I’ve never owned a bottle of BDC, only a decant of BDC EDP that has that weird chanel lipstick/makeup note that I don’t enjoy. I picked up a partial bottle of the EDT cheap which I like more because it’s fresher, it’s a nice casual scent but not one that I’d be running out to get another bottle. It’s the GOAT of blue fragrances but I understand why lots of people think it’s boring

None of "Blue" Fragrances are impressing me, but Percival is not too bad, it's different and sexy. It's more "aggressive" and decisive which I like because it makes you smell confident and masculine. BdC is just a people pleaser kind of guy without Attitude.
I hope that Louis Vuitton L'immensite becomes the new bleu de chanel & dior sauvage, but nobody is talking about it but it should totally replace those fragrances as the next big thing. Very manly, sexy, performs great too

Absolutely love the way Terre D'Hermes smells! Unfortunately (on me at least) it barely lasts like 20-30mins for both EDP and EDT.... But I love it too much to stop buying it lol
Layer it with Aventus or a Aventus clone. Not only does it boost performance but the scent is even better than either fragrance is alone. I think Curly was the first reviewer to realize that but its true.😊
Has terre d Hermes been reformuatled? I just got a bottle from Nordstrom and the performance is quite abysmal. Probably 30 minutes to an hour of decent projection, and longevity is about 3-4 hours
Question. I heard Estee Lauder reformulated Tom Ford, Initio, Killian, PDM, etc. True ? And globally the main 3 to 5 notes are synthetic, scent is much weaker, and high in ambroxan ???

My summer fragrance this year is "Terre D'Hermès Eau Givrée" from Hermès and "Explorer" and "Starwalker" from Montblanc. I have the Bleu de Chanel EDP but I'm one of those people who can't help but smell my mother's lipstick as a kid. 😂
Agree with the lipstick comment. I get the same kinda smell with Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme. They must have a similar note in there the just smells like makeup or something
starwalker is masterpiece, shame they discontinued it. I own versace eau fraiche too just so I don't use up my bottle of starwalker because versace eau fraiche really is the closest thing to starwalker but not as good

Sedley and Percival both perform a lot better than most people give them credit for. I think they ade even better than PDMs heavier wintertime fragrances.
Hi Demi! Great video as usual but I really need to say this: Whoever is editing your videos is not de-essing your videos for sibilance. The 'S' sound in this video for example is unbearable and a simple pop-filter while recording + de-essing in post would have fixed it. This video could have had 500k+ views but I think the audio is seriously holding you back.
Bvlgari Tyga is basically an aquatic version of Tuxedo. I know that is hard to imagine, but you have to smell it for yourself. Very under the radar fragrance.
I need an amazing bright fresh summer day fragrance but i feel like there isnt many options i know of other than versace pour homme and eau fraiche, thinking of buying 50ml of both but i would rather something that i actually love, i dont think aventus and Dylan blue are for summer days 🤔 i need something nicer than nautica voyage with good performance around 100 bucks, not Missoni or light blue or Jimmy choo ice tho, been focusing on fragrances for club nights so much, didnt realise id need something light for hot days

It took a couple of years for me to realize it but PDM Sedley is an absolute masterpiece and easily the sexiest aquatic I've ever smelled. Also Percival is a perfect replacement for all your boring Blue style fragrances. People say it's a Feirce clone and while it has similarities it smells much clasier and refined. It also has a similarity to Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme that many don't seem to notice, but I did after Curly Fragrance had mentioned it. Unfortunately PDM mostly is only known for their heavy winter fragrances like Pegasus, Herod, or Carlisle, but to me their best two fragrances are easily Sedley and Percival.
Something to remember with the JTC collection is that Xerjoff does not give official notes. Not sure why they didn't continue that with the Torino fragrances. Speaking of which, I can't believe Torino21 didn't make the list! I know I'll be dousing myself in it all summer.

Depends on the level of effort and commitment, but I agree guys generally have to work harder than "beautiful" women to get results online. That's just the nature of a male dominated Medium. There are big fragrance channels such as GentsScents and ChaosFragrances but these guys are posting a new video daily and it must be incredibly exhausting, if they stop posting for a while, they'll lose followers. There is also Jeremy... well let's not talk about that guy, he used to be so passionate now he is basically just a lazy shadow of his former self. But apparently hes become "rich" so he doesn't care that hes now trolling his audience. 😡

Great list Demi. I currently use Torino21 for the daytime, Tuxedo for the nighttime, and Cedrat Boise for errands. Tuxedo is by far the most complimented scent in my collection.

Hey Demi. Pulled the trigger this week and bought myself a BDC EDP. Such a great scent. I am wondering though about projection/longevity. I don’t really pick it up after 2-3 hours. I used 3 sprays, might be under-spraying, but I also might be going nose-blind as well. I hear amber fragrances will do that. Not sure if you might have a suggestion. Great vid as always
I use 3 sprays and I can’t smell it a few hours later. A co-worker (frag head like myself) says he smells it 8 hrs later and he loves it! So I go nose blind for sure! 👊🏼
I think fig smells like toilet spray and so does cheap citrus, fico di amalfi had both cheap smelling citrus & bad fig making it smell like toilet spray. Couldn't get into it

Bleu de Channel on summer is a no no for me. I own it, and imo it doesn't project well in summer. Unless it is a cool summer night in the outdoors, but I wouldn't recommend it for the beach or the club when is more than 80'F degrees outside.
My sedley bottle was messed up for a bit as well lol fixed it with a couple of cuts on my finger and mefisto is amazing thank you for the advice for fresh fragrances last year took it on the cruise I went on last year might have to buy Vibrato for sure though
Mefisto is magic. Six strategic sprays and you will elevate your entire existence. Possibly the nicest compliment I’ve ever received was with Mefisto, I was told that I have an aura around me, that I was drawing people in.

Overspray on clothes and make sure to double spray on your pulse points and it will fix the longevity issues

I was wearing 1 spray of Sedley on my wrist and 24 hours later you could still smell it clearly. It does perform like crazy

Afternoon Swim is ridiculously underrated but i think the price is what keeps most people from getting it.
Man both of those scents are among Louis Vuitton’s best offerings. Imagination is absolutely amazing.

As a man, the Bleu De Chanel Eau De Toilette lasts longer on my skin, I LOVE IT SO MUCH.

Hey Demi. Pulled the trigger this week and bought myself a BDC EDP. Such a great scent. I am wondering though about projection/longevity. I don’t really pick it up after 2-3 hours. I used 3 sprays, might be under-spraying, but I also might be going nose-blind as well. I hear amber fragrances will do that. Not sure if you might have a suggestion. Great vid as always

I use 3 sprays and I can’t smell it a few hours later. A co-worker (frag head like myself) says he smells it 8 hrs later and he loves it! So I go nose blind for sure! 👊🏼
Spray atleast 5-7 times u will be more noticable trust me :)

I think fig smells like toilet spray and so does cheap citrus, fico di amalfi had both cheap smelling citrus & bad fig making it smell like toilet spray. Couldn't get into it
How does it actually compare to Elysium sillage- & longevity wise?
@@joolean7799 elysium has terrible silage and longevity, so fico di amalfi definitely much stronger and better silage. But stronger isn't better when it smells bad

Bleu de Channel on summer is a no no for me. I own it, and imo it doesn't project well in summer. Unless it is a cool summer night in the outdoors, but I wouldn't recommend it for the beach or the club when is more than 80'F degrees outside.

My sedley bottle was messed up for a bit as well lol fixed it with a couple of cuts on my finger and mefisto is amazing thank you for the advice for fresh fragrances last year took it on the cruise I went on last year might have to buy Vibrato for sure though

Mefisto is magic. Six strategic sprays and you will elevate your entire existence. Possibly the nicest compliment I’ve ever received was with Mefisto, I was told that I have an aura around me, that I was drawing people in.
