What a beautiful spot! Places like this always put fuel to the fire of my imagination. I get excited to think of what it might have been like in the past, living there. But I also imagine what even more wonderful places like this will be waiting for us in the new earth. Thanks for taking us along.
Go north to page AZ the east on 98. Head towards kayenta and look for the Navajo natal. monument. Really cool. Take a tour of antelope slot canyon and visit lake Powell while in page.
Beautiful music, beautiful scenery. So laid back, but somehow, reverent. This is one of my favorite TH-cam channels! Thank you for sharing your adventures with us. Some day, I hope to have some adventures myself!
Look at you geek out over the flute player. That is so awesome to see that light come from you . What amazing locations you took us today... thank you so much.
Absolutely breathtaking! Thank you for sharing this beautiful place, Brian! As you said, the Sinagua people lived in their own natural paradise! While we are often treated to your wonderful flute playing I want to say thank you to Harry, for providing the perfect musical accompaniment to this video!
Hi, you make the Castle look so pretty. Something about the angles and light. Great video. I went directly to High Spirits and bought Mr. Seavey's CD. OMG it's beautiful music. Thank you for the link. I'm so glad you stopped there and met him. $10 CD.
Thank you to montezumas castle, I would never see it otherwise ! The flute player was really enjoyable! The scenery was gorgeous! It actually spit snow here in Cleveland, TN. You were smiling after seeing Harry! God bless you and be safe!
Brian, would you mind when you see a story board at a site - please film it. It only needs to be a moment as I can pause the vlog to read it. Though it needs to be in focus and takes in all of the story. That was an excellent vlog of the old stone ruins. When you make your spoons for sale, perhaps finely carve your name, initials or something that identifies it as your creation.
Brian I have been in camp Verde all winter long and have enjoyed sightseeing in this area as well. I have been to Montezuma‘s castle and to Montezuma well truly a beautiful place.
Man that breakfast looked awesome! Good ole camp Verde! Lots of Native American history there! Montezuma Well is full of rattlesnakes at certain times of the year! Very cool place! Awesome video! That area like most of Yavapai County was Yavapai tribal area. Then to the north rim especially the Sedona area! Montezuma Well was a farming community !
Almost missed this one......so glad I caught my oversight!! Loved the flute segment....would buy the cd in a heartbeat. BEA•U•TI•FUL territory and, yes, I can easily imagine you content in living there.☺ I'd love to see it in all seasons🌵🌳
Wow! You are good, but Harry is fabulous! What a beautiful place! To think how simply people used to live! And the whole community worked together! That’s the beauty of the nomadic people! They still have that inner connection with nature! I can’t wait to get out there! Soon! Thanks again, for another beautiful video!
I thoroughly enjoyed your hike to Montezuma's Castle and Well as well as the wonderful, talented Mr. Seavy's beautiful native flute music. Thank you, Brian . . . safe travels.
I peeped the new link to your Amazon store! I already own the Alone in the Wilderness DVD set. I love, admire and envy Dick Proenneke and his resilience in the mountains of Alaska. I'll make purchases through your store and affiliate links. Thank You :-) Oh, and it's still snowing today in NJ.
Beautiful, thank you for sharing your experience. I love your music. I know it is not native, but no one can deny its beauty in nature. Btw, the food looks awesome too. ;) Happy and safe travels
Ha! I was just there and had the same breakfast, too! 😲 Who needs a gym membership with places like this- Love those steps! Another enjoyable video- thanks!
TobyInTransit my wife and I have hiked that Bell Trail is awesome there's so much in the Verde Valley to see you can spend a couple months just cruising around in there
Thanks for taking me on your travels you do a fantastic job of showing things from your eyes keep up the great job looking forward to your carving video
That breakfast looked delicious Brian, definitely going to try that one. Harry's music was beautiful. Thanks for the interesting video Brian. Thumbs up...
Wow! All those structures! Large tribe at one time! I can imagine the beauty of it in its time! But would you really miss out on being here in these days?! Beautiful music played from the heart and spirit! Thank you for this share! Was so wrapped up in it could have watched more! ✌️💜😊 In Yahushua!
A trip down memory lane ... I did the same route exactly 5 years ago. I had also checked out a petroglyph site in the area. But was under time constraints by the time I arrived, so will return! Happy trails Brian!
Very nice Brian. I continue to appreciate your style with each video. I'm also uplifted to know that there is a growing audience out there for your kind of video creations (real life and travels not built around drama). I want to see the good with the bad that you encounter and true life real drama is OK along as the video creator is not using drama as a foundation for the majority of their videos or as a hook (bait) to suck you in. Your product has a long shelf life. As new people discover your channel they will want more and happily go through your archives playing old videos which are just as relevant today as when they were made. Stay true to yourself...keep doing what you're doing..it's working and eventually this platform might provide you with a good and steady income for continuous travel.
Another awesome video thank you the Verde Valley is such an awesome area there's so much to see there I've lived in the area for years and still have yet to see it all.
Lovely video. Love these places where you can wander round and sometimes 'read the history from the remains. Several times 'discovered' places like this, they were mystifying, then many years later found out the history. Now there are explanatory displays you can read when you visit. No way that beats wandering through the site and down what was clearly the mill stream, and trying to interpret the ruins. Turns out it was, as I thought, dodgy. Two 1900s ex employees of the guy who patented water powered spinning and weaving, stile his methods, set up a hidden factory and made a bit if a fortune until some years later the mill was found and destroyed and they were prosecuted and transported (I think). Look up Lumsdale Mill. It's enchanting, but sad too. I wonder how long ago the dwellings at the well were lived in? Thanks for the video Brian.
You said you were born in the wrong time .... believe'n in reincarnation as I do .. and with your adventurous, nomadic lifestyle .. your current way of life just might have been carried forward from past times like these dwellings, etc. :) .. Huggles from Alabama :)
Just great Brian.....your daily adventures are wonderful to share, so thank you......TruckcamperJim in Indiana for 2 (yes 2) more days then on-to Illinois
My brother lives at 11:15 on that distant ridge, that's Rimrock👍😆 Check out the V Bar V heritage site it's very close to you and free. It's pictographs and petroglyphs and you can boondock near by. The directions are "6750 N Forest Ranger Rd Rimrock, AZ 86335" It's a quick hike back to the site and it's on Beaver Creek. Great Vlog Brian👍
Nice work on.featuring these two spots. I live in Cornville close to both and have been to both. My favorite spot is the river area where the water from the well comes out to Beaver Creek. Especially during the fall when the Arizona sycamore leaves are like gold and the trunk and limbs are a striking white.
As usual another great morning video to watch. We’ve been there and our grandsons were really interested in these places. They were reading all the informative plaques and history. Asked many questions and it kind of drew a picture for them. Safe travels.
I'm looking forward to hearing more music from your flute. One of my favorite places is Mesa Verde and it's cliff dwellings. I visited there about 37 years ago (?!yikes) on a high school trip out west. It's on the top of my bucket list to visit when I finally retire and become a nomad. I will add this location too!
The last few notes on Harry's flute were insane! Natural reverb. Someday someone will discover your van dwelling and call it paradise ✌
Very cool. Love Arizona, and the freedom it offers.
What a beautiful spot! Places like this always put fuel to the fire of my imagination. I get excited to think of what it might have been like in the past, living there. But I also imagine what even more wonderful places like this will be waiting for us in the new earth. Thanks for taking us along.
Why does the coffee brewing kickoff never get old?
