You can make pizza in a pot, the typical style is to make it in a cast iron pan, but substituting it for a Dutch oven or slow cooker works just as well. since the cooking pot in game seems to be a very think cast iron Wok, you could totally make pizza in it, it would be more akin to a pizza bowl, but to each their own.
When I found tomatoes for the first time I thought to myself "Imagine if I could make pizza in totk that would be crazy haha" Then I found cheese and I thought "hey I technically have all the necessary ingredients to make pizza, isn't that a funny coincidence..." And then I tried it out for shits and giggles and proceeded to lose it when it actually worked. The pizza is still in my inventory to this day, I can't bring myself to eat it, it's too perfect.

I remembered when I used to make bread in BOTW (to make bread, you need one tabantha wheat and one salt cristal) with a hearty ingredient but I don't know how is it named because I am french and I still need to learn some more english, but yeah it is considered like "herb" and is a reddish/pink. To make the pizza, all you need is the cheese from hateno, hylian tomatoes and tabantha wheat. My guess is that you were using hylian rice not tabantha wheat by accident which created the cheese and tomato recipe. By the way, there aren’t different types of cheese in the game. There’s only one cheese and that’s the Hateno cheese
Now take a boulder and move it a ways with ultrahand and rewind it so Link is riding it like the pioneers used to do and deliver that hearty hylian pizza to someone, just don't forget their drink.

I saw the tomatoes and almost IMMEDIATELY wanted to make pizza. I legitimately told my mom in passing that it gave me tomatoes and no cheese so I couldn’t make pizza. When I finished that quest and unlocked cheese, I was strangely hyped. Sadly, you can’t add meat to make it pepperoni or sausage or something, and also can’t add mushrooms or anything. Ever since I found the recipe for pizza, I've been dedicating the farm outside the Hateno school to farm the necessary crops for pizza. The first one I made I cooked during a blood moon and to this day it sits gloriously in my inventory
i wish there was a cooking recipe book and a fishing handbook and minigame those kinds of things are my favorite in games just mindless fun grinding Pressing X on the cooking menu shows all the recipes youve made

I saw the tomatoes and almost IMMEDIATELY wanted to make pizza. I legitimately told my mom in passing that it gave me tomatoes and no cheese so I couldn’t make pizza. When I finished that quest and unlocked cheese, I was strangely hyped. Sadly, you can’t add meat to make it pepperoni or sausage or something, and also can’t add mushrooms or anything. Can’t pet the dogs either 😔

I was ecstatic when I learned I could make pizza, kinda bummed you can't add an extra item to the ingredients and make something like a meat pizza, mushroom pizza or fish pizza. Imagine putting tabanthan wheat, hylian tomatoes, hateno cheese and something like sunshrooms to give you a mushroom pizza with cold resistance? Would have been super cool but I'm content just being able to make pizza
I've made a pizza with cold resistance. I just added a spicy pepper to it
I'd wager considering peppers can be added anything that game considers a fruit works. Mighty Swedish banana pizza, anyone?

After seeing tomatoes, that's immediately where my mind went as well. After seeing cheese, I knew it could happen (especially because the recipe is in the cheese shop).
