Shoutout to y'all i didn't know about some of those post scheduling tools. watched the interview a few times. She did a great job explaining her position. I just earned my cert for social media marketing so it was good to hear her day to day.

Mari Bella I double majored in communication and sociology, but when I was in college, social media jobs didn't exist! But what prepared me was learning how to write, which is an important foundation for any career path. One of the most helpful classes I took in college was a business writing course that taught me how to achieve the most impact with the least amount of words - which is exactly what Twitter is! I would say develop and hone your voice and point of view through your own social media channels - and blog! Finally, research and follow closely how your favorite brands use Facebook vs. Twitter vs. Snapchat vs. Instagram. Learning how to use social media to further a company's vision and goals is really important - and a very fun challenge :)

If you can't find a job create it, approach a few of your favorite local brands with a social media plan and maybe they can hire you on a freelance basis! Best of luck :)
