Boswell Hot Melt Glue Gun Review

Welcome back! Today we’re doing a quick DIY craft. We’re attaching blue gems to bobby pins to make glamorous hair pins. They are beautiful. They are awesome. They are not the main subject of today’s video. Instead, I would like to use (for the first time) and review my new Boswell Hot Melt Glue Gun. This was a present (not sponsored, given to me as a gift from someone in my life).
For years I have crafted with a mini hot glue gun, the cheap one you buy at the craft store, and it ranges from fine to dangerous, but it gets the job done. However I nearly always burn myself while crafting with it.
To be fair, that isn’t entirely the glue gun’s fault. I move quickly and am not super cautious. However, since it does get really, really, hot, and the whole thing is tiny (which means less non-hot surface area to grip) and it falls off its stand really easily, I get burned a lot.
But I’m super excited that those days might be over! This new glue gun is full-sized and fits well in my hand, its got adjustable heat settings, and exchangeable tips for better glue flow. It even has a silicone tip heat protector! You guys can probably tell from the video that I’m already in love with this new glue gun and am so excited to be saying goodbye to the old one.
Looking forward to tons more crafts and not burning my fingers while doing them!

Hi ! Now that you've been using this glue gun for 2 months would you still recomand it? What would you like different on this gun? Thinking about buying this one but i'm scared of buying something that will broke down after the first couple of use :s
Hi! I really, really love this glue gun. I like that the tips are interchangeable, but my very favorite thing is that I can adjust the temperature, I actually keep it lower than recommended and it's stopped me from burning myself as often as I did with all my other hot glue guns. I threw the old ones away. I love this one. --So far no issues with it breaking down at all either.

I heard there is a lot of problem with the seal around the nozzles?
How do you feel about the fine tip and precision? Is there a stream thickness different? How does it hold up to use for detailed work for an hour?
