I love the idea of glueing multiple blue sticks together and making beads with colored glue sticks. I didn’t even know glue sticks came in different colors.

The dollar tree is now carrying a silicone mat in the crafting area. It isn’t large, but I like it.

I love “hack” videos and really like the idea about the binder clip. The tile/coaster made me think of gluing two together and making a trivet if the glue will hold them together.

And if you use a lot of glue and this method if you have a glue pot you can just take all your scraps from the mat and throw them into your gluepot

I have a bin with my several guns and many glue types. Ima throough some binder clips in there as back up stands, and I keep forgetting to put one of my silicone mats in there as well so thanks for reminding me!

If you have silicone bead molds You can put them inside the bead moulds when they’re dry take them out put a dab of glue on the back of them and use them so they are precisely level.

They are all great hacks, which I will use from now on, but I think the best one is the silicone baking mat to catch the drips. It can also be used as a worksurface, thus keeping my table clean. 😊

Idea of using clip for holding glue gun and aluminum foil to clean tip of glue gun....my tip for you.....I have a gun like your yours that you used pink in. Obviously we know, the small gun is very inexpensive, I found several of them when reorganizing my craft room, so no extra expense for me! I was about to use a color glue for first time and stopped dead in my tracks. I thought wow, I don't want to use a more expensive gun and how will I clean out the color....so after meditating for few minutes I went and got out 3 of the small guns I found and labeled each gun different: Colored sticks -dark, Colored sticks - light and 3rd was labeled Color Glitter sticks. Works good for me! Now, do you have a trick for cleaning a gun after using colors?? I haver never known if there is a proper way so one day I took a clear stick and ran it completely through, then followed with a second stick, almost but could still see a hint....so if you know proper way please add to one of your videos....I will be watching for. (I still use my 3 gun set up - works for me)
