The prof Lang read the Quran deeply relating with his life experience. Good insight and intellectually and spiritually simulating. I am looking forward to follow up all his videos.

      Abdul Rahman
"prof Lang" needs to go to a psychiatrist to be treated from Oedipus Complex. He embraced Islam because he read Surat Al-Bakara ? Do you know why was it called like that? Because Allah was upset with people as they kept asking so he complicated the matter for them and told them to bring a yellow cow. Allah does not like people to ask. You cannot learn if you do not ask. This Sura shows that the angels know the future but Allah does not. They told Allah that man will shed blood. Allah also was a cheater. He taught Adam the answers of the questions before the test but he did not do the same with the angels. He was not fair. Then, if Allah was merciful to Adam and he pardoned him as the Koran says why Allah did not take him back to the Janna? Why are you and I still on earth and not in Janna uf Allah pardoned Adam?
he laughed at the punishment of Eve and said it was the most humiliating but because man rules over her, well what about the Koran? Is a woman equal to man? I leave that to any Muslim to answer and see how Islam compares woman to animals and men are superior to men and ... and ..
When he came to Jihad, he denied the meaning of fighting in Jihad and what makes me laugh he mentioned the verse of Jihad in which people were killed in Badr battle. As I said he needs to go to see a doctor.

jvg6 jvg6 Haven't you heard of the Satanic Verses? Look them up. They aren't in the Quran now, and many Muslims have never even heard of them, but Muhammad said that certain female idols could intercede for people, then later said that Satan put those words in his mouth to test him.

    • @jvg6jvg615
      @jvg6jvg615 7 ปีที่แล้ว

Here we have a two-fold test of a false prophet. How does Muhammad measure up to the test?
      Test #1
If a man speaks a word in the name of God which God did not command him to speak, that man is a false prophet.
Muhammad spoke words which God did not command him to speak.
Therefore, Muhammad is a false prophet.
      Test #2
If a man speaks in the name of other gods, that man is a false prophet.
Muhammad spoke in the name of other gods.
Therefore, Muhammad is a false prophet.
Muslims may not like it, but by any definition of a prophet, Muhammad just does not measure up. Indeed, he meets the criteria for a false prophet, and therefore must be rejected as a messenger of God.

the name you go by is so befitting to the state your soul is at the moment God created man with sense of right and wrong and to have judgments based on free will we walk through life with intentions -good or bad- he has created us so that our intentions are what directs our morals and so when we come to God we do so with our own choice thereby making our decision to do so more meaningful. you shouldn't fear God you should fear yourself because if you turn your back he won't be there for you

A very clear example for this. is what you mentioned about apostacy ...The Quran mentioned Apostacy many times & never decided any punishment for it at all &strictly honoured the freedom of "belief" "Some verses clarifying this: ...."There shall be no compulsion in religion.Distinct has become the right way from [the way of]error"....."and say the truth[has now come] from your sustainer let then, him who wills, believe in it &let him who wills, reject it"......

I truly, truly, do hope and pray that there will be a day that you receive the beautiful blessing/healing of expressing your ideas with peace, balance, compassion, and consideration.Your conviction is admirable, but not your view of a person as trash to be insulted because he disagrees with the way you impose your views. The World is in its present condition because of volatile expressions of the ego to be the Absolute, shutting down both reason and the heart.

    Professor Lange, hi, essalam alaikom.
I am a Muslim and from a short while I saw your wonderful videos about your experience with Islam, but I noticed things that I explained, many of which I liked, but In my opinion, some of them need more scrutiny, and my master informed you that many Arabs and Muslims interpret the Qur’an in a superficial way, and I see otherwise.
I would love to discuss and help each other to understand and during these discussions your understanding will increase more and the topics that I will present you are philosophical, physical and cosmic topics, and you will see what the Qur’an has of secrets. By your judgment, you can speak English. The highest scientific ranks in America or the world can be discussed.
The topic: I wanted, after your permission, to refer to the verses of creation that can be interpreted in another way, first of all the divine books and even the simple interpretations of the Qur’an interpreting the same interpretations, but there are other interpretations that are more understandable.
1- The topic of the beginning of man’s creation and the debate that took place between God Almighty and the angels
The first thing that must be mentioned before the sin of Adam and Eve is that God Almighty decided to make a caliph on earth here, the decision before sin, and this is important and not sin, and for its effect they descended to the earth as punishment.
2 - 2- That Satan and the mites of Adam and Eve together by his saying, so cut them, not for Eve, then to Adam, as in Christianity in some books and some books of interpretation of Muslim.
3- God allowed discussing it here is a useful concept for us. Dialogue with anyone should be opened calmly And tolerate.

4- Here, after the slip, Adam received words, meaning he taught him, upon error, what to do
5- How did the angels know that people shed blood? Did God know them, or were there human beings before Adam’s descent and then they were gone?
And in connection with another verse, “I created the jinn and mankind except to worship me” I see, and God knows, and as some of them said, that the goal of existence is worship, and the paradise in which dialogue took place is a paradise of divine experience, testing and teaching for humans, not the paradise that will come after the reckoning.
What you added to me in your interpretation of these verses is the idea of teaching and learning that pertain to human beings Despite the aggression in humans.
Sir, this is an idea that may benefit you and thank you for your patience.
    And to the encounter.
    Nabil ben hessine

However, as a teacher/leader, all aspects of a situation needs to be considered and appreciated before discourse commences. Ego needs to be set aside. Furthermore, I can't wait to see a 'proper', welcoming lecture given by you to convince me of Islam. Not a comment or an defensive response; but a very good and convincing lecture of you on TH-cam. I understand your point and its a great point problem with the word God itself is that its a word used loosely. People can attach son mother father to it and destroy its meaning. It is alwaysest like galaxytruth said to refer back to arabic in its orginal language because you cannot attach or associate Allah with any other words.

Allah intended to justice to himself, so he brought creation into being to rule it--- therefore Allah created us to do justice to him---justice here has spiritual component, therefore, suffering, sacrificing, obeying, fearing, hoping, knowing, praising, supplicating, appreciating and loving Allah all are forms of worship that does justice to Allah because he has earned by rights of his attribute and virtues. that is by His majesty, beauty and the reality of his being. After all, what is justice but to give a thing its dues, earned by right of its virtues and attributes. that is the purpose of life in islam---the act of Submitting to God by those forms of worship above, willingly or unwillingly by all of creation in the heavens and earth. He asks us to justice to him, and he will be more than Just to us, he will be merciful in the end.

If it weren't for the fallacies, the lack of any historical, scientific, or archaeological evidence to support the claims made by those who wrote or compiled the Quran back when they didn't know we would have so much ability to critically investigate and verify as we do now--if it weren't for those things, then Islam provides community for those looking to belong. Yet with what we know now about the archaeology of the Kaaba (built about 200 years before Muhammad's life); the hoops Islamic scholars take to make the Quran scientifically relevant (repeats understandings and misunderstandings present in 7th century Arabia); and the source of the stories and customs Islam adopted (names, pagan rituals, circumnavigation, Zoroastrian understandings, and the abandoned teachings of the heretical branches of Christians and Jews who had sought refuge in that part of the peninsula).
Seeking a meaning for life through a closer relationship with God is honorable, whatever tool one chooses. After much research, I do not trust what Islam teaches.

I am making an effort to approach Islam and your corrective, strict dialogue is doesn't fit here. It would be as if I go to a psychologist and say my addiction, he interrupts me and say 'dependency is the word, not addiction because that is correct terminology in the DSM-IV'. In my mind I would say, "Okay, I'm walking on glass in life, do I have to walk on glass here." I admire your firm and proper understanding of Islam, maybe someday I will be at the same level.

In America everyday so many people are converting to Islam from other religions so many are finding God after studying Islam: This is Dr. Jeffrey Lang he is an American convert to Islam and author of the best selling works "Struggling to Surrender: Some Impressions of an American Convert to Islam", "Even Angels Ask: A Journey to Islam in America" and "Losing My Religion: A Call For Help". He also co-founded Generation Islam, a networking group serving the needs of North American born Muslims.

You are right I don't know the state your soul is in I think only you and your maker know that I do think however that you're seeking something some answer (that's why your here) and just because you didn't ask to be here doesn't make you void of responsibilities for your actions you are responsible for who you are and what you become hence your free will allows you that right so on that account you're wrong just because you didn't ask to be put on this earth does'nt mean no consequences

I am confused and distracted by your comments. It is because there is a such thing of approach-ability. I am a supervisor in my profession. I have to be available day or night to offer support. This is aspect is evaluated. Do I push my subordinates way because of their understanding, do I roadblock them at every word and correct them with the word I feel is more correct to the situation? I would have questions of fitness to be a leader directed towards me.

@james stone, everything Jesus(pbuh) spoke the truth. We muslims believe in his teachings. Jesus taught us to love one God, which muslims do. He taught us to worship God which muslims do.

As for womens rights,I give you a simple example which no moslem on earth deny or does not know,a woman went to the prophet asking for devorce ,while assuring that there was nothing wrong with her husband,he is religius, rich, good manners...exc but she, simply does not "LOVE HIM",he asked her to give him back the Dawry given to her & she was divorced

    Jesus taught salvation by faith...
"Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life. " John 5:24
"I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?" John 11:25
But you don't believe this - you don't know Jesus, you only know Islam - Know Jesus, Know Salvation

He was never an atheist. He just lost faith in his christian god and found a god he liked in Islam To be atheist, you accept that there is no god, not lose faith in them. Once you are atheist, you can't go back unless you actually see god, which no one has ever claimed to do. He didn't go atheist to Islam because he saw god. He just happened to like the answers from the Islam god better. He was never an atheist.

Go to an earlier Version of the Bible, and read the same sentences. Also check different bibles on the market. now almost 800 if not more different versions of the bible. read some them, and go to older manuscripts to get as close the source as you can.

Jesus taught salvation. Jesus was one with God in Purpose. Just like every other prophet. Jesus was a man amongst men chosen as the messiah to guide mankind

notice that mostly all those converting to islam are the learned intellectuals.. you can see the difference in the conversions of people to a religion or faith.. only brain teach the heart..

Jesus taught God is a unity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit...
"I and the Father are one..." John 10:30
"If you had known me, you would have known my Father also..." John 14:9
"...make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" Matthew 28:19
"...the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything..." John 14:25-26
Know Jesus, Know Salvation, No Jesus, No Salvation

The Qur'an also uses the word "Ilah" i.e. God/Lord....
I agree with you to an extent but - "Allah" says "call people to Allah with wisdom..." sometimes it is wiser to break down barriers - I'm sure once people become Muslim they will opt for the word Allah over "God" since it is a better suited word for the creator : )

All you quote is Paul, so why did God forgive the prodigal sons? Or the many people in the old testament? Where did Moses say to his people that God will come and die for your sins?
Please leave you comments on a more relevant video, I have seen that comment on several other videos? It seems you have the cut and paste mentality?
    bye

,because human a woman human life is very prescious. He was a founder of a great religion ,nevertheless (or because of that),he never asked her to sacrifice it or to be pacient because her husband was religious, good, healthy & rich!!!!!The first Muslim convert to Islam was a woman, the 1st martyr in Islam was a woman.the medical corps of the prophet army was entirely ,because a woman's human life is very prescious.
