I have accidentally placed my tree platforms on the high snap point. and now when i follow your instructions it says i can't build my pillars all the way to the ground because it only supports so many meters. I don't really want to build another two platforms is there a way around this? please help thankyou :)
Thanks! So you're probably going to have to move the platform which is unfortunate. The only trick I can think of that might be a work around is if you put floors on the ground and build pillars up from there to meet with the other pillars. Mobile definitely has its restrictions when it comes to building cause this wouldn't even be an issue on other platforms. I hope that can help? Ark building has always been weird and sometimes it's better to start over then figure out what's wrong with the odd build mechanics.
You can try they're just a little harder to control for building. They glide a little far after you stop and can be very annoying, along with the way they flap their wings. If you can do it though, then awesome any flyer should work just some have better flying mechanics to make it a little easier.
Maybe try to build from the ground up...the snap points should be the same. Foundations have to be down first and you need at least 2 or the structure isn't correctly supported.
Not really...with this method you don't have to put pillars every 2 spaces and only need to do it on the ends. Normally, on official settings you have to put a pillar every 2 ceilings in order to hold the structure. This method allows for you to not have as many pillars which saves on time, and resources. If you're playing modded then you don't have to do this at all.
@@Fynixmech Yes it may be less pillars, but it's still not zero. The whole point of treehouses in general is that nothing touches the ground, therefore anything below you can't harm you. What happens if a player or dino smashes one of those pillars, does the bridge collapse? If it does, then as I said earlier, it defeats the point.
Not really a pvp build though. Treehouses in general aren't really suited for pvp. If something happened to the pillar though it'd just be the bridge and not the whole tree house. Unless you were alpha or something with round the clock watch highly unlikely multiple treehouse would last long on a pvp server. In terms of pve dinos that can easily be solved by stronger pillars or defenses.

If you have to have pillars that go all the way to the ground, you're defeating the point of it being a structure that does not go to ground.
