- Grá is love but it means more than love. There's no direct transaltion from any language to another and so it's not simple.
There are thousands of ways of telling someone you love them in Irish and millions of beautiful terms of endearment that don't translate well in to English but are very strong and deep.
A chuisle
A chroí
A stór
A chuisle mo chroí
A ghrá geal
MO GRA THU!!! This is a most beautiful phrase we can say!!! Thank you so much for this amazing video!!! And a lot of love to you!!!

I love you in 40languages
I wish I learned my language
Born in Belfast in the 60
We weren't allowed to speak it
I now live in Australia
Due to the troubles
God bless
Anyone who believes denying someone their native language is not taking away their culture and history is lying to you. I'm sorry for what you experienced.
Literally a lie. Firstly, it's not your language if you're not a native speaker of it. Secondly, no-one in Belfast has ever been prevented from speaking Irish.
My family name is O’Grady - does that have anything to do with the word for love?
Why every video teaches ‘ I love you’ is all different
lau victor because we have no way of saying “I love you”
Owen Bobcat Doherty of course we do . Is gra liom tu .
Mo gra tu is incorrect. It mean you are my love
Isn’t Mo Gra tu = you are my love .
Is gra liom tu = I love you
How would a grandmother say I love you to a granddaughter?
Hello Beautiful ☘️❤️😇
This is so lovely! Do you teach Irish?
Thank you Victoria - I’m sorry but we don’t teach Irish!
