What if they're using social media itself for the purpose of their work career and what they wanna pursue, to propagate their work and reach a larger audience? For example, someone who's an artist, a music artist, a music director, an actor, a photographer, a director etc. That's completely justified. And they *can* actually make money in that case with their work on social media.
There was a time when 1million Subscribers means alot but in current time 1-2million subscribers look like 2017-18 30-40k subscribers channel. Time changed very rapidly agreed with @lakshaychaudhary totally❤️

My thoughts are same as he is talking so that I am always away from social media . I am in class 12th and all my friends abuses each other fake things making fun of every person and show them like they are so cool and genz type follow all the toxic trends viral on Instagram Facebook Twitter TH-cam and etc .
But I think that trends to aate jate rahte hy but jo kabhi change nahi hota hy ar bahut important hy that is classics or basic knowledge I believe that other than dancing on insta viral music i should have to learn our indian classical Dance and music people thinks that using cuss words is the symbol of their modern mind but that is not true students of my age go for party with friends but I go to spend time with my grand parents and spirituality.
