I always knew this was one movie that would make grown men weep like babies. You'd have to have a heart of stone not to. Thanks for sharing it with us, guys.
I have never cried during my adult life, somehow i have fought back the tears even after passing of my loved ones. This movie makes me cry like a baby everytime i watch it. I just can't control my tears
I still haven't gotten over this movie! And I understand now that it's impossible. It's incredible how the effect is the opposite... the more I watch it, the more emotional it seems. Before I would just cry buckets of tears, now I feel sick for days I decided I should stop watching it again, but it's stronger than me! Maybe because it's not only a sad story, but also a beautiful one!
Like the man said it's got to be a purpose why the dog will fetch. And he knew what was wrong with him. he could smell it. Dogs have a better sense on things than us humans before we know things it's too late to do anything about it. The one I love about dogs Is there pure and loyal but there not driven by greed or hate like humans. They don't act human they are loyal and good companions. And will be there for you. As long as you treat them good, they will be good back to you. I love how smart they are too how to train to for recuse and helping out others.
A Dog's Purpose (2017) starring Dennis Quaid, same director as Hachi. They made 2 sequels as well. 2: A Dog's Journey (2019) and 3: A Dog's Way Home (2019), the 3rd one different director and cast, but same writer for all movies.
My own favorite movies with dogs in them are Antarctica" made in 1983. This movie is also based on a true story. The film was remade by Disney in 2006, as ''8 below'' ''8 below'' is arranged in a story that is easier for children to watch than the real story or the original film. The true story and the 1983 movie were deemed to be too hard for children.
It’s the music and the dogs facial expressions that get me! He just doesn’t understand that his owners not coming back! They should have brought him to the funeral. He probably would have stayed at his grave though.
Yeah he probably would have! The music plays a huge role definitely, and I agree his expressions are ones of confusion but with patience behind his eyes. Such a beautiful and heartbreaking story
Did you cry watching Hachi... be honest... 💔

Beautiful film though! Yeah I was holding back the tears multiple times but it’s got me at the end 🥹 piano music / sounds get me too haha
I love how it always starts with excessive blinking, fighting the tears. But some movies can't be toughed out and this might be the pinnacle of tears.
We certainly tried! But it got us both 🥹😂

Don’t know if we could handle more sad dog related movies 😂 who knows though we might want to punish ourselves 😂
Awesome reaction!❤
