High evo is the best deck I've seen thus far and yeah I'm waiting until weekend quests as always to see what else we can find. Kinda want to roll for Pixie.
What about a Quicksilver Domino Wiccan and all 3s in a Silver Surfer build with Magik and Crystal so 2 3s on 5 and 6 and 3 3s on 7? Maybe throw in a wong as well since all the extra energy on 5 and 6.
Wiccan is nice at turn 5 to hit a card on top of your 6 cost card. I found hazmat combo with Odin, Ajax or Arnim Zola are fun. Also most Wong combos on turn 6 will work like Silver Surfer ex.
Yeah my feeling after an hour and a half of trying Wiccan in a few things is there's real potential both now and for the future; it might take a while to find the best way to play Wiccan; and everything looks different if they nerf Arishem Loki as they should in the OTA. That would open up the meta substantially.
I always tend to have the other 2 cards and don't want to waist my keys on the gamble for 1 card and only have 6,000 tokens. I wish I could use the keys for only the cards I need.
I think this is one of those cards that came out a bit too early in a meta he doesn't have a strong home in. The thing about Marvel Snap more so than other card games is that not many people play too hard into good tempo decks. I mean, there's not much reason to. We have Quick Silver and Domino that can support that type of deck but at the cost of making a non-tempo deck have some bad draws. Nothing really benefitted us for playing on tempo. Then we got Red Hulk who sort of incentivized you to to spend your energy each turn but because of Red Hulk showing himself and his power each time he triggers he's balanced in being able to play around it. So Wiccan's probably going to be a key card in a tempo deck once we get more cards that benefit from it. And I guess worst case he's also a 4/7 and like War Machine they both have abilities that might not necessarily always trigger but bring decent power. That said a deck with a bunch of 1 costs like Kitty would likely work just as well, if not maybe better as you don't need perfect tempo 1 card drops. I'm interested to see where he is in the meta next year. It would not surprise me if he becomes a key piece in a top meta ramp deck.

Wiccan is not just ok and it is not inconsistent. He is OP at 4/7. Was playing him in card gen Loki and started immediately climbing. Got from rank 9000is to rank 6000ish EASILY. He doesn’t always work out but when he doesn’t - just retreat. Quicksilver is total cope. Zabu is total cope. You need FOUR one drops in order to usually get one on turn one. Love him w/ Loki because you can overwrite the cards you were using to curve out 1-3 for more powerful options. Cardgen + Wiccan or just Loki can win on their own and if you activate both on time - very hard to beat. That makes sense. I had literally zero interest in this card and your comment sold me on it more than any streamers/youtubers I've seen. I have 8-9 keys but already have Loki but dono't have and really want pixie so maybe I'll get em.
@@Unibot47 I didn’t have Loki so it made more sense to me. It sort of plays out like a 12 card Arishem where your energy is backloaded and the random cards come from on reveal generation.
I thought about something like this, but I was too excited about actually seeing a deck with quicksilver and zabuu so I ignored thay idea 😂 plus people coping around Wiccan working well with Dino card generation made me forget about it, as Dino sounds horrendous with a card that allows you to play more cards. glad your deck functionally works well

The results I got are legitimate (in fact I’ve climbed a bit more) and I guess I thought maybe I was giving back to the community by providing a list I had success with. I haven’t seen anything like this on streams but I did play close to a mirror match on ladder. It’s not my intent to get people to “waste resources” and I’ve made a LOT of comments here and on reddit saying that people should always have their key and token spend planned 3 months in advance and to stay disciplined to the plan - I’ve had this week slotted for key spend since it was data mined.
Would be nice of his ability was activated PER THE PERVIOUS TURN you used full energy. Would that be too OP? That way he doesn't just fizzle out and be useless if you didn't make full energy turn 3 and onward. 4-7 is good tho. Only used him in a like 3 games.
I was so excited for Wiccan and I feel vindicated. I'm playing a deck with quicksilver and domino and then all 3 and 4 drops and it took me from 85 to infinite! and it was so fuuuun! 3 and 4 drop on 5 and two 4 drops on 6 is so powerful
I wanted to pull pixie and wiccan, but was very hesitant after the podcast. Still couldn't resist with 9 keys. Got Wiccan on first key. So Pixie, will still have to wait.

Nothing to do with the video, just curious. I played 2 games so far where someone had multiples of a card. One game the person had 2 Blobs, not an Arishem deck. Also another had two different America Chavez, again, not a Arishem deck, no Loki and no moon girl. How else is this possible or is there a hack or something? Oh and there wasn’t copy the same card you last drew location

Do u have nocturne? I feel like jeff n lad a year ago is a no brainer but after nocturne jeff seems to not be used as generically anymore and iron lad I haven’t used in a while personally. Loki is still in question on if he’s good yet in his new form especially since Arishem just got nerfed.

Is he good? I mean yes and no. The biggest problem is his ability is to hard to reliably activate. Most of the time people are just stuck with a 4/7 and at that point there's better cards to use
@MajorChipHazard316 that's tough a decision friend. I say it depends on if you really want a more "fun" type of card and if you have no problems with increased rng effecting your game. If your cool with both, I'd say go for it.
So far, Wiccan has been terrible in my sample size. Haven't seen him on any opening hands with a two drop or at all in time. I'd pass for my review of this card until there is more support, which there will be at some point.

I just checked out some flexibility from Wiccan. I found him to be very strong in a Destruction deck generating that extra energy.

Well you can get a second blob, like with a card generating cards like Valentina or Nick Fury, a second Chavez probably like agent 13.
