I would say just make him Hulk out after 4 energy being unspent and its kind of awesome thematically if you think about it > Hulk getting angrier and angrier because you are not spending your energy properly and then finally when he cant take it anymore, he takes over. This 25% thingy is just a key saving week.
People talked about it as the percentage grew with each turn. Turn 2: 25%, turns 3:50%, turns 4: 75%, turn 5: 100%. But it resets each turn. Each turn you get 25% chance for this to trigger. Knowing my personal luck, this means 0% chance. So nope. I'm out of BB train.
In theory its best to play him turn 3 as that gives you the best chance. I've ran him with Magik and its been a decent amount of games he triggers but i wouldn't use him for any competitive mode. hes a fun champ and that's it

I think it should be 20% per unspent energy each turn. So if you float 1 there’s a 20% chance it changes that turn. If you float 3 it’s a 60% chance for that turn. If you float 5, you get the Hulk… but that’s a 7 energy Hulk effectively
People should evaluate cards like this as "75% chance it WILL NOT Hulk out" so they realize how little times you'll get a Hulk. Yes, you have a 68% chance to Hulk out if you play Banner in turn two and always have unspent energy. That's best case scenario. If you play him turn 3 or later, the chance of NOT Hulking out is 43%. Those odds suck.
BTW, playing Banner one turn after Moon Girl, to play multiples, gives you a mere 40% chance of Hulking out AT BEST over the two remaning turns, if you don't spend energy. So, you WILL NOT see a Hulk 60% of the time (over an infinite number of games, but in fact, you'll still not see a Hulk 75% of the time).
You are completely ignoring the opponents evaluation though. Banner can win a lane with 12 power for 2 energy. Do you commit some power and hope he doesn't transform? commit fully and cover the 12 power or ignore his lane. Locations very often force one of those decisions which is very powerful for the person playing banner early. I.e Turn 2 banner into kyln, whats the correct play? commit 13 power worth of energy or give the opponent the location for only 2 energy?
@@85UKDan If you play Banner early in a lane, you are showing the opponent your plan in the most straightforward way. You know you can focus on the other two lanes and just put 2 power there, since 75% of the time that beats the 1 power if Banner doesn't go off.

Also do you not understand math. it's only 75% to not hulk out if banner is played on turn 5. Odds increase significantly if he's played earlier.
I think maybe change the unspend energy interaction, do something like each turn have a 20% change to transform into Hulk, if you end your turn with unspend energy it increases 20% more, so in that way you get more rewarded for playing it early and not spending all your energy, you can also may waste all your energy in a turn and still have 80%, still sucks the later you draw it and it's weak to red guardian, but sounds a lot better and not that rng dependant
The first game sums up this card perfectly. Your enemy will hulk out first turn, youll have two or more, and never get one. Also i would've broken my phone if i have 4 and none of them did anything. Alex is calmer than i wouldve been

The first time I played Bruce and the first turn I skipped energy he changed. Then in about 20 games after he changed one time. He has worked exactly how I thought he would.

Easy fix: For EACH unspent energy, roll the chance to hulk out. That doesn't mean if you end turn with 4 unspent, you get 100% chance, but rather 4 rolls at hitting the 1/4 chance. Could possibly drop the chance to 20% if this ended up being too good.

I will say the kit does need a buff for the meta we are in but I’m loving every second and will probably make Evo the deck I run for awhile.

I finally got High Evo and added Bruce as a support card to put in the Sunspot lane. Honestly since I didn’t put too much emphasis on proccing the Bruce it felt pretty good. I stole a decent amount of games from a turn 5 or turn 7 Banner turning into Hulk.
I won three straight gold runs with my Banner Evo deck, which is very unlike me. They weren’t pretty runs but I made it. I have Nico instead of Nebula, Red Guardian instead of Caiera, Abomination instead of Infinaut. Shang chi instead of She Hulk.

Congrats on 100k. Bruce should honestly gain a 15% Chance each turn. 25%-40%-55%-70%-85%- 100% by turn 7 if played on curve. Keeping the Rng, and staying in hulk like nature of progressively getting more powerful . However this Card will almost always feel bad past turn 3 if you don't have Limbo, or Good RNG. So I almost considering him passively gaining these percentages while in your hand.

It should keep increased stats before Hulked-out also, like currently Dracula. It seemed annoying when he Hulked-out but loose all increased stats from Misty Knight.
ngl, as soon as i saw high evo and ravona in the cache for this week, i knew immediately that i wanted nothing but those two cards, one key down and got a duplicate despite having a handful of season 4/5 cards
You know what would be cool for this card? An animation that shows him glow or something so your can actually see the 25 percent roll. He just sits there and you stare and hope...
I didn't have high evo, and it was the only card I wanted. I got it With my first key and was happy. Didn't spend another key. I have 7 keys now, might get rocket and groot but I think the next card I'm looking forward to is moonstone.

Honestly Bruce Banner should have been the free card in High Voltage. A silly, risky card would feel a lot better to get for free.

I think each additional float should increase the chance. Say the first turn with unspent energy, 20%. Next one, 30%. Next one, 40%, etc.

Possible changes to Bruce:
-Buff 25% -> 50%
-On turn 6 turns INTO Hulk
-If you’re losing this lane by turn 5 turns into Hulk

My first game against Bruce was a Cloning Vats match, my opponent played 4 Banners and all 4 popped, I lost horribly

It should keep increased stats before Hulked-out also, like currently Dracula. It seemed annoying when he Hulked-out but loose all increased stats from Misty Knight.

ngl, as soon as i saw high evo and ravona in the cache for this week, i knew immediately that i wanted nothing but those two cards, one key down and got a duplicate despite having a handful of season 4/5 cards
Easy fix: every time a turn end without Hulking out, the chance increases of 10%. At the sixth turn it would be 65% chance, which is an okay chance.

You know what would be cool for this card? An animation that shows him glow or something so your can actually see the 25 percent roll.

I didn't have high evo, and it was the only card I wanted. I got it With my first key and was happy. Didn't spend another key. I have 7 keys now, might get rocket and groot but I think the next card I'm looking forward to is moonstone.
Glad I one-keyed High Evo (especially after last week taking 4 to get Doom)
