Hey thanks man! Im using a bleach bypass LUT in photoshop and just brought up some Saving Private Ryan reference to get as close as I could. You can actually do something similar with Geforce experience game filter settings, but I have always thought WWII games should have the option.

@@prestonpalafox4236 I take out a bandage and then crop the frame. This gets the hands out of the way and also lowers the field of view giving a much more cinematic camera.
it’s the steven spielberg’s shaky cam technique that does the trick, which has been applied wonderfully here. you can notice it in saving private ryan, band of brothers and the pacific. seeing things from the perspective of a soldier, witnessing the intensive action in real time, none of that slow mo bullshit.
This game really does succeed in the immersion sense. I actually get that lump in your throat while playing, and I certainly got it watching your video. Like when the airplanes came overhead, I imagined seeing that happen from the ground. Extremely well done!

Frankly they have the same treatment of everything else, they are just well modelled and textured. I also think the overcast lighting might help with the realism.
