Disapointing throwaway junk after spending $600. The camera is hostage to the faulty app, can't find the camera, you cant download firmware as the app will not activate the camera to download. This is a sub-standard device best avoided - I'm thinking mine will go in the back of the draw unused because it cant be used. The instructions are very pathetic and substandard, and the constant wasting of time to try and make it work is frustrating. If a device such as a camera can not be used out of the box don't buy it.

Got mine today. I wasted my time trying to activate the camera by downloading the insta360 app from apple store using my iphone. Couldnt activate the camera after trying all sort of ways. Finally I tried doing the same, using my android phone instead, and downloading the app from google play store. The activation and the firmware update went on like a breeze. Hope that this helps others.
No wind protection in wind protection mode. Horrible sound. Spent 30 minutes charing with service, no use at all. Any idea of a new firmware update soon?

Hi there, we are sorry for the inconvenience caused! To understand your issue more accurately, did the camera prompts a message of “Overheat Protection/High Temperature” when it stops recording? If so, like other electronic products, the camera’s temperature will naturally increase after a long time of recording or downloading files. And to protect the camera, ONE RS is designed with an internal overheating protection system to prevent it from reaching an unsafe operating temperature. When this happens, you can set the camera aside for a few minutes to let it cool down before recording again. I also have a GoPro10… well, let’s just say I’m still trying to workout issues with it. However, I just received my new Insta OneRS I’m really looking forward to working with it 🔥🙌🔥

Think GoPro is miserable? Just wait till you try to deal with one of these Insta360 pieces of shit. Set the language to English and the piece of shit will display Chinese for you. So great. And its really great that they have ads playing during the tutorials when people are trying to figure out their new over priced piece of shit camera. Its not frustrating enough without the constant ads you see.

Did they fix the over heating issue with the One RS? I have the One X2 and after 15-20 mins of recording I would get issues of overheating
