    You had a great day on Bald pate, the granite is not fun on a wet slick day!

    You are doing great! Hiking with a smile!!! You are much prettier when you're smiling. Glad to see you past the hard times. BTW, the blazes are that high so that they don't get buried under the snow in the winter. In January that probably is eye level.

    Don’t hurry too much. I know you are getting tired and worn down but IMO Vermont, New Hampshire & Maine are the absolute best part of the trail and should be taken slow to enjoy it all. It’s all the prize at the end of the rainbow.

    Hiking smart. When the weather's good and you're feeling good, grab any extra miles you can and put 'em in the bank. Peace, Love and Kindness.

    To avoid paying $900 for a flight home you could just turn around and walk back home. Don't that sound like big fun !!! I love you Honeybee.

    those are wind turbines, not wind mills

    How can we have a summit day picked already? Nothing like staring down a deadline for the last 250 miles..

    • @SianiAnne
      @SianiAnne ปีที่แล้ว

      Given the way she started her hike, my guess would be that she's more a little further than her videos show. Just a guess though. She said she didn't want people to know where she was.

    Dang, those wind turbines are an abomination. If there's one thing we humans have learned, it's to soil our own environment. Sometimes, as here, it's with good intentions. But, yuck, not worth it. Go, Honeybee, can't wait till you summit.

    • @ElPiedro80
      @ElPiedro80 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      As long as our scientists don't come up with another (short time) solution for any kind of clean form of energy, you can expect some more of these wind turbines.

      @@TheJhtlag I´ve solar panels that on a year base just slightly produce more than that I use on electricity, I know that is just electricity and they do not always produce it when I need it (day/night rhythm and/or seasonal effects, which is another challenge). I think the bigger challenge is to replace the energy that is needed to heat/cool our houses and for transportation, just for normal households, and I´m not even talking about the challenges the industry has regarding energy use.
