Ah Chile red with a jet black roof, used to paint them in the factory at bmw cowley, used to have a special lane for the shuttle's only

Fantastic Martin and trust you to be so caring about any potential noise you go to the expense to fix it, now that is being a good neighbour. Heck, you could use that as a guest suite for visitors if the house overflows! As per usual, another wonderful video from "The Empire"!

Love the booth. Love the Mini too; those R50 facelift (2004 to 06) Minis are appreciating in value, especially ones with sun roof, tach pack, leather, etc. Cheap to fix, too, in the main. Hoping it’s a keeper for your fleet. Ta

camping world has got uv protectant tire 🛞 covers. that way your tires won’t dry rot from the uv. but for painting over spray i’m sure they’d work better than wasting paper.

the thing that i would be concerned about yea it anchored down like a tent 🏕 but the fabric rubs on the stones over time rubbing a hole in it,. have they got a fix for it.

Great job there. Yes get them fumes outta there asap, you don't want overspray clinging to the inner walls and ceiling or you'll have nibs in your paint forever more. I know you know that but anyway :D

You are very lucky to have nice neighbours. I used to do some mechanic work and the odd bit of accident damage on the weekends in my garage and my neighbour reported me to the council. I ended up in court, but thankfully no fine, just court costs and court ordered me to stop.
Under what grounds can they order you to stop?
There’s your problem then, people are around at the weekend. I work from home, never make noise at the weekends.
if you go into a carpet shop that does fitting speak to them they pulling up carpets everyday that are going in the skip they,ll give you a couple of 5x4 s free use as an under base liner just roll them up put to the side the cheap poly or nylon be best wont break down in the rain

What masks do you guys use when spraying 2k?
Changing the subject a little bit you and me used to use power strip for removing paint but when you seem to buy it now you need a health and safety certificate to buy it. Are you have any issues buying it or are you using different stuff that you could recommend.

The booth is still good.
look at jackery portable generators all battery no gas or oil to fiddle with. they have led light 💡 strings low/medium /high/ setting sticky velcro’s string lights lots of light or plug 🔌 in a shop light the lights are led. they come half charged. charge full good time go six months non use. you’ll need a adapter to covert the 110 plugs. and has usb ports built in work light i’m sure you could re wire a different plug set up might void warranty has solar panels with usb. new unit is 2,000 watt shop n look 👀 see at least but you could buy american power surge protector strip use it but the plugs be for the english end.

Not a problem I just throught I ask
Just a heads up for you from someone whose been painting 35 years ,use a air fed mask mate trust me that mask your using ruined my lungs and give me copd look after your lungs you only get one set and I suffer badly now through not wearing the right gear in the first 5 years of being a painter as when your face moves it breaks the seal you also take your mask of to talk to the camera,you might think its nothing but I am 65 now and cant breath and will probably end up on oxygen as my sprays are not as effective anymore, you wont notice it till later life and believe me it's not nice not being able to breathe good luck in your business but get an air fed mask it's not worth getting lung disease for a couple of hundred quid

Modern lacquers are designed to buff within a few hours.
