Wonderful job guys, having flown Iberia back in June I can definitely concur with Nicky's points about there being no food service at all which was definitely a shame. Did get access to the Iberia lounge at T4 (The one Liam tried to get into at 4:32 before they explained to him that it's for Schengen flights only) and it was pretty good
I flew Iberia economy JFK-MAD in summer 2018. Beautiful, brand-new A350-900. The flight to Madrid was overnight and they did serve dinner, but then came around to collect rubbish like 20 minutes after I got my food. Then the entire flight crew disappeared for hours and I had to try to sleep with my food tray in front of me. Something about the lingering smell didn't agree with me and I ended up passing out in the galley when the flight crew finally showed up again and I went to return my tray. When they _were_ around, though, the crew was super friendly and took good care of me.

But when it comes to offering food in economy BA is better. at least in short and medium haul flights...About the crew, if you want them to be friendly and not grumpy that's an extra fee. About Madrid airport. It's actually laid out by colours, so the colour for the letter of your gate matches the colour of the terminal. Blue is at the north side of it and red is at the south. with all the spectrum in between so it's easier for you to find the way to your gate just by looking up. very clever and unique i think

I just flew Iberia business 2 weeks ago and it was strange. Asked to hang a jacket - said they couldn’t because of Covid. Wouldn’t offer anyone more than one drink with dinner. I went to the galley and asked for a second and they told me it was my last one because they only should serve one. They ran out of my meal choice and kinda shrugged when they got to me so I ate an economy meal instead. Lastly, they collected headphones 30 minutes before landing which I thought was very tacky. I only flew them because BA cancelled my flight and would never again.
It was genuinely not great! This was long haul too. Compared to other carriers their service is shoddy and cheap. Flying BA the other way was night and day.
Also they never pay me back the fare (approx. 1,000Euro) of Tokyo-Madrid roundtrip via London, the journey of which should have been done in March 2020 at the very start of Covid scare in Japan, Spain, the UK and elsewhere. Iberia extended the validity of my air ticket till the end of December 2020 and then till the end of June 2021 but never beyond that. Several days of self-isolation practically prevents me from travelling by air for all these months, so I told Iberia both on the phone and via e-mail that I wanted the money back, but they simply refused. Lesson learned: Never buy their ticket.

I just came back from Madrid on September 3rd. I had the same issue as Liam with the lounge. I flew American, initially I was told the lounge was in the duty free area then had to trek all the way to the satellite terminal.
You should be able to choose in which lounge you go, and even hop from one to the other if you like. Maybe it's changed since covid, but prior to that, I would use either American, Qantas, Cathay Pacific or the BA lounge for my BA business class flights in London Heathrow terminal 3 and nobody would object that it wasn't my lounge.
The different classes, on the same flight concept brilliant! Wow economy on that flight.. minimum give the passengers bev service and a packaged snack!
BA doesn't even give away water if you don't buy it in economy on short haul. American Airlines still give away a biscuit or pretzel with a drink on their domestic economy flights, but in Europe, some airlines have stopped serving anything if not purchased.
Only just started checking the video, but wondering why did you not use the self check in to print you bag tag and send it on. It is much quicker that waiting in line. I always do that when visiting Madrid.

I would never pray to fly with iberia again. Flew them 4 years ago from Madrid to Santo Domingo, we got one meal and round of drinks and where left alone in old and uncomfortable Seats for the rest of the flight.
I flew Iberia in October 2017 from Miami to Madrid on their A330-300. It was a pleasant flight, Meal was okay, I got a Drink in the middle of the night pretty quick when I asked for it. The Seat was comfy as well, but the Crew was not of the nicest kind, they got annoyed pretty quickly.

Concerning Iberia and Iberia Express. Has anybody had difficulty bringing on a carryon, a backpack and a purse(over the head kind)? When you look at their carryon policy it's just a bit confusing. They technically don't mention backpacks. Also, when u look at the carryon policy, it says to bring your carryon to the checkin counter and to only walk on with your purse/personal item. That doesn't make sense. The whole point of having a carryon piece of luggage, is that you can carry it on the plane yourself. Can any simplify what exactly they are trying to say in their policy?

The Priority Pass lounge in Madrid is one of the best in the World. Outside terrace overlooking the apron. There’s even sunbeds!
